This was very exciting to learn about this technique. Who knew that alcohol and permanent markers would make such beautiful colors. The flowers and butterfly were such a delightful surprise!!! Wow! Thanks so much. I saved this to watch again.
Hi there Noit. I loved your flowers and papers using the glossy paper and alcohol with the permanent markers. I have done similar using greaseproof paper. The effects are great. Love your tutorials. Thank you for sharing your ideas. X
I found your channel to be a burst of creativity with fun, bold color and exciting art. THANK YOU!!! I have had a stack of glossy paper for years. I asked a handful of artists how to use it but no one had any idea. This video is the solution. Heading to my art studio for some glossy projects today.
Oh my!!! I'm in love with this!!! Thank you so much! I own a coffee shop. The bags my coffee beans come in are really nice glossy paper. I keep thinking that I could use them somehow...
Another idea I had is after you alcohol marker the background, use a stencil n put alcohol through it. I know it’s very thin n would easily go under the stencil but if you did dots w a pant brush you might have more control. If not it would still have close to the shape. Or stamp w alcohol on the background using the foam stamps you make. Lots more videos for you to make. 🥰 I never thought of using alcohol with alcohol markers. For some reason I figured I needed alcohol inks. Thanks for saving me some money. 🥰 Much love to you.
What a fun idea! I was a teenager in the 1970s and so the Flower Power theme really appears to me. I will have to look for that flower paper punch, it's perfect! Love this page. Thanks for all the great ideas. (Also, sometimes I use cheap vodka in place of alcohol in my projects. If I don't like how the project is looking, I can take a drink of the vodka (just kidding, haha...) 🍸
I have so much photo paper from when I have 2 buy my ink 4 my printer, it's a lot cheaper buying the bundle then individual inks, with your brilliant tutorial I finally have a way to use it up. I did have to laugh at the flower power part that was great. I am going to do this and make the family bookmarks. Since lockdown they have been reading a lot. Hugs
Thank you for sharing this technique with the markers. I have done this when i paint with watercolors. I have not picked up journald or stamping But , it looks like so much fun and i'm loving your show everyday.
Thank you so much Noit, I really really love 💕 that. I’d have never thought 💭 of that. I was thinking 🤔 you could put the alcohol on a sponge and put that on the paper, and that might give you a different look. Thank you so much for experimenting with the colours and alcohol, it’s really useful and helpful too. Stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Only fairly recently found your channel and I am loving your tutorials especially as we are in lockdown. You are making my lockdown something to enjoy!
So cool Noit I've got a cheap pack of cards that I wanted to turn into embellishments or tags/Artist cards but was wondering about the shine and its draw backs. I will definately be trying this technique on them. Thankyou Noit
One time I put a flower half off n cut it like your and had the other half left. It looked just like a butterfly n I turned it into a butterfly. I think you could do it with the flower petals you have also. Say the bottom part w two petals. Cut the two petals in half and move them a little closer together. Would like great.
I love this page, Noit! It looks a bit like tie dyed effect. Flowers r a beautiful element to add, especially on the first day of May and in springtime. :D
Thank you Renie. That's just what I call it, we have 2 chains here, one called MAX STOCK and the other one DAN DEAL they are like DOLLAR TREE or POUND LAND 😊
Thank you Kathy. You need to check the sound settings in several places: RUclips at the bottom of the video, your browser, the device you are using (computer, tablet etc.) and any external speakers if you have them.

Beautiful paper. I'll use it. ;)

Besides splattering, I spray a light mist of rubbing alcohol on the sharpies.
Great idea
@@NoitArt It's similar to spattering but gives very fine dots. Enjoy your work!
Oh I love this. I'm a alcohol ink fanatic. Lol so I'm sure I will be using my papers I don't like doing this project. Thanks again.
Thank you Bette-Ann
Wonderful idea! Is the final product still glossy? Best wishes.
Thank you Elizabeth. Yes, it's still glossy
I put gesso on all my wrapping paper if i use it for journaling
The idea was to find another way to use them without covering it with gesso
Very cool
Thank you Karen

I had a little trouble hearing you. Love your ideas, though!
Thank you Kathy. You need to check the sound settings in several places: RUclips at the bottom of the video, your browser, the device you are using (computer, tablet etc.) and any external speakers if you have them.
The audio is very low. I can hardly hear you.
