On January 21st, 2024. Officers were called to a Burger King regarding a man who had been trespassed previously but returned and started harassing various employees. The man then walked over to his job at KFC & when officers approached him there, he refused to identify himself leading for the officers to detain him. This is the body-cam footage of the events that followed.

Sometimes psychopaths/mentally ill individuals resist arrest. They struggle and fight instead of staying calm and composed. According to the restaurants staff, he was harassing them. He was probably harassing them because he worked for a rival restaurant chain. Staying calm is the best option. It’s good that their body cameras are on. It seems as though most of them did a good job. They didn’t harm him, and they knew how to properly use CPI. One of them called the potential suspect “boy”, most likely because he called them b’s, h’s, and n’s. The potential suspect could have been trained to hate police and react negatively. The entire situation needs to be evaluated.
