I actually got to talk to Lisa after I went to a concert of their's in Detroit. My friend and I had been in the second row (it was SO. Fantastic!) and we were really enjoying ourselves. She actually winked at us during this song AND At The Ceili. When I talked to she actually remembered us. One of the best days of my life. :)

it was short of a miracle!! the original Celtic Woman show was supposed to be a one night performance at the Helix Dublin for PBS. they wanted something totally different and new. different singers of different types of voices, lighting that was top notch, different songs included in the show... David Downes knew these girls i believe because he did studio albums for each original members "Chloe, Meav, Orla, Lisa and Mairead" and invited them all to sing/perform for the show... it was a instant hit and now its still going after more than 15 yrs of the shows great music and talent!!

oh my gosh yes! Dresses are not anywhere near as restrictive as skinny jeans, and also most of them aren't as sexualizing as skinny jeans, I mean the point of skinnies is to lift your butt and show off your great legs.
Dresses are nice, but it seems like it would be uncomfortable to be wearing something without sleeves. But if they're modest they look better than jeans or whatever else.

Isn't it interesting how women in Ireland rarely sing about the men they love, but are constantly singing about the women they love? Are there disproportionately large numbers of lesbians in Ireland?
The Irish have always changed the gender of a song just by changing the words from male to female depending on who is singing. Sometimes singers just can't. Male singers usually sing Danny Boy from the female perspective. The song is about a mother pining for her son. Hard to sing that from a male perspective.
I love these women. My aunt took me to see them. We have a years-long tradition of going to shows and plays. She introduced me to celtic music. It was the first time I had ever seen them. The beauty of the music and their voices brings you to tears. I am going to see them in April when they come to the murat theatre in Indianapolis, Indiana.
