I was just telling someone today, "Africa has nothing on the scale of CNN or BBC to promote itself, so the work of RUclipsrs is of the utmost importance". There are RUclipsrs with more subscribers & whose videos have more views than the tourism board of their country, this says a lot. People want to here the story of Africa from Africans themselves and technology has made it possible, so keep up the work my Brother! ✊🏿
I nolonger infact watch CNN,BBC,aljazera etal.i watch RUclips on any subject frm subjective channels..who really still watches main stream media who are controlled on every news they sell in favour of the "system"right from our own countries to international stage main stream serve the few powerful in many aspects.
You’re the type of leader Nigeria needs. You see a bright future for Nigeria unlike most people. Pessimistic people can’t contribute to our nation’s growth.
Yes RUclips is a real business and am happy making videos on this platform. All i hope and pray is to get my own audience that will love what am creating on my channel. I will keep doing what am doing because there is time for everything.yes be your self and the right people will have to choice than to love you for you🤩👌 I really enjoyed this video, wow look at that sea side my gosh,I need me some coconut water😋 tayo more of this oo,anyway i alwasy enjoyed watching your contents. I've actually not heard that interpretation of Táyò before 😂. To the best of my understanding, 1a) Táyò [mí-dò] = worthy of joy/celebration. 1b) Tèmítáyò [dò-mí-mí-dò] = My situation is worthy of joy/celebration. However, the translation presented at 0:26 was for 2a) T'ayò [re-dò] = For joy (more precisely: of joy) 2b) Tèmítayò [dò-mí-re-dò] = My situation sticks to (or steps on) joy. (Clearly this interpretation doesn't really have a solid meaning) 2c) Tèmitayò [dò-re-re-dò] = My situation is one of joy What is common is 1a and 1b. In fact, what was pronounced in Yorùbá at 0:27 was 1a and 1b. However, the English translation given in the video was for 2a (the imprecise version). Anyways, I'm not trying to write a think piece about this but I found it interesting in the academic/linguistic sense. Nice end-of-year recap video nonetheless 👏🏾.
Yeah the pivoting thing is a defo. The RUclips street is crazy, trying to figure out the algorithm is what is informing a lot of decisions. Are there a benefits to to having a Nigerian RUclips community?. RUclips is indeed a business for RUclips, so we have to treat it as such. All her videos are doing well. Weldone to her. I like the entire conversation settings and how cool this video is. Quantity is more important, needed that reminder.
Tayo, trust me there are investors watching and waiting to dump money into Nigeria. what you are doing is not in vain. Due to your videos, I was able to see the true investment potential Nigeria has, and it's massive. You are truly advertising the country well.
@7:38, nice one Tayo! I can attest to it when you explained how it feels to forge something from sand or from raw materials and then to see people enjoy your creations... I'm experiencing this right now as a small-time builder and it feels good to take a vacant/abandoned/dilapidated four plex and turn it into nice little dwellings and to see people eager to pay big bucks in order to move into one's creation. That feeling is one of the best in the world. Yes Tayo, Naija and Pan-Africa has gotten potential if only my Naija people, especially those in Diaspora (yes I was guilty of that as I am still based in usa/Diaspora, but I want out, and it is not easy because it's like you dig yourself into a hole of debt and then you have no choice but to keep on digging deeper until you finally get out on the other end), but at least I have since learned that in order for Naija to be great, we the youth, especially those in Diaspora need to return and help BUILD/create jobs in Naija... It shall be well... They will be done... GODSPEED!
The trash was the first thing I saw. Indeed we’ve been imagining these things for years. Yes making impact by showing the world these places exist is important. Great conversation. Tayo, don’t you think because Nigeria isn’t safe that’s why people are not investing in tourism.
I think it’s a lot of stuff that’s making people not invest and the unsafeness is one of those things. Hopefully that will change soon when young people with vision begin to invest. Thanks for watching!
Security is just an excuse. we have bunch of investors already established and making money in Nigeria morethan any other place on planet earth. A very good example is the Dangote 15 billion dollars project, The likes of BUA plc, and so many other. Recently a USA base payment gateway called STRIPE just acquired a Lagos base fintech PAYSTACK for 200 millon dollars . People when dey talk of security , dem no get money.
The same unsafe environment AIRPEACE was created today thay have 24 aircraft and ordering for another 10 Boeing 737 max, and about 3 Embraer aircraft. so many great examples of nigerians and foreign companies doing very well.
I absolutely love this girl! I saw your comment on one of her videos and I discovered her channel and she’s just so good. You’re both really inspirational
This is so much relavance to my youtube journey. Pivoting is key at some point when ur audience stops watching your videos. I started my channel during lockdown and my content centrered around making money from home. Right now the lockdown is over im southafrica and my views have decreased. I really need to pivot and find more interesting content to give my audience
I agree with you on the way to grow your youtube channel is from RUclips! The people on those other platform are residents of their own platform.. pushing them to come watch your youtube contents works to an extent. You will find your audience here.. your audience will find you here.. just keep making quality contents! Love the collab! Korty, i watch your contents too!
This is impressive, and you are right Tayo, lots of us are looking for worthwhile ventures for investment, creatives like yourself are truly helping us to see the potentials back home. Still difficult because of the Nigerian terrain as some investments have not yielded much but there is a desire to spend our hard earned money back home and not necessarily in the west any more. The biggest loss to Nigeria for me is tourism, massive loss! Visiting Nigeria, should be like us going to Spain, Italy, Greece Tunisia, France, Malaysia, China..........
Tittle should have been "there's someone I want you to meet!!" Because I can't be more glad, this is why I follow you, to learn and see new things that always tickle my fancy, got more than what I bargained for in Korty this time
love you two...............................................................................................................................................
Can t understand why nigerians are not subscribing Tayo, he should v reached his highest heights by now, his vloggs are ace very ckear and proffesional showing there are good nigerians in nija such as himself. Co mon nigeruans promote your guy.
Tayo! You almost gave me a heart attack with your caption! I am still here waiting for you. Great job and compliments of the season. You do such a great job 💖😁
Next year I want to pursue full time RUclips and focus on travel ( cause I enjoy travel content ) I hope people enjoy it too and my channel picks up Inshallah 🙌🏾🙌🏾
i enjoyed this QnA session really well. you answered the questions beautifully and i also agree with you that there's no Nigerian RUclips community that works. its all a façade. RUclips btw has been kicking my ass real good and i hope this changes by December 2021
Not sure you'll read this, Tayo. But the problem isn't vision or lack of investment funding. Its poor policies and lack of stability. Investors won't put their money where there is no law nor reliable law enforcement to protect them from losses. Nigeria needs restructuring and leadership first. I love your optimism for Nigeria, but we can't wear rose colored glasses when facing reality.
I have never ever seen this Korty of a lady. What I do know is she should put down that camera and become the subject, as a model. She is stunning....Plus. You all keep referring to Naija. Non Naijans like me from all over the world watch your videos.
Tayo Aina my professional passion is tourism. Your content is awesome & you are a visionary. When this world calms down I would like to collaborate & it can help many people to manifest their dreams & build a great industry that will also create many jobs. No wahala for accent.😊

You highlighted so many important things about vision and managing the good features of Nigeria well. I will continue to hope for Nigeria, so much potential!! (Side note: about to apply this to my own life & craft - seeing beyond what is there and managing/ maximising what I already have!)
I am new to your channel and I have applauded the fact that you tell our story so to speak; the one bit of advice that I'll give you is that you mention African characters who inspire you (perhaps you do, but again, I'm new to your channel). This came across as an exceptionally Eurocentric hero worship of so called 'influencers'. We have enough 'greats' to chose from and we need to do so unapologetically without drawing for other nations. Peace and blessings from the diaspora.

I think it does look like you too 😂
You didn’t reply my comments on your vlog. Why

Check brother kwaku
Yeah and its also our work the viewers to share them to the world
Those are white supremacist networks they don’t need them.

True
I pity those pessimists as they cannot be helped or saved.

Love Korty, she’s a breath of fresh air in the RUclips space. Thoroughly enjoyed watching. 💙

Tayo is such an Entrepreneur. A serious entrepreneur for that matter.
This girl is an African Queen⚘💞

Compliments of the season Tayo. Thanks for showing the beauty of Nigeria especially. Enjoyed your videos
It's funny you said in Naija, there isn't a youtube community because Wode Maya said the same thing. I like this convo sha, nice one T and Korty.

Very true in Nigeria we lack vision. We think more of short term goals rather than long term goals.
