I was gutted to hear the news of Kin leaving, and now the indefinite hiatus hurts even more. That being said, nothing lasts forever. All good things must peak, decline, and end. Wouldn't it be great if most things ended at their peak? How many bands have dropped albums you didn't listen to for years, or still haven't heard because they "fell off"? How many shows ran themselves into the ground instead of ending decisively? True, we may not have seen their peak. There may have been something even greater coming. But at least what we got was beautiful from beginning to end. It didn't overstay its welcome, and every bit of it will be beloved. I'd rather see this project end than have it tainted by creative differences. Not to mention the strain it would put on their personal relationships. Of course I would welcome it if they changed their minds, but if not, that's okay too. All I have to say to the guys in the band is thank you. Your music reminded me that we're not done finding new ways to make metal music that's fun and inspiring, and also absolutely badass. I intend to follow all of you into your future projects.

Ever since hearing "One Hand Killing" for the first time 6 years ago, you guys have brought so much joy into my life with the amazing music and your wonderful personalities, I even was able to see you live once (I live in northern europe) and it was amazing! Great blokes, amazing musicians/songwriters and 100% genuine. Never any BS with the Ninjas. Christ, even me profile pic is of me and Stevic eating a banana....mid set. Hahaha. Definetely sad to hear the news of 12ft calling it a day, however, all those killer live shows, unreal albums and fcking hilarious music videos will keep us entertained forever.
This was the most unique and underrated bands of our time bros, the synergy of the musical production with deeply intense and meaningful lyrics will never find a comparable equal man.

I was never notified they released a video for this!!!! It's really sad they finished. They were one of my favourite new bands, and one I could tell friends "see!! rock 'n' roll isn't dead at all. it's still alive!" I wish them all the best in whatever they intend to do, but sitting outside of it all, I'd say the thing they need to do is get this band back together, and make it so that everyone's happy to be in the band. It's gotta be that way. It can't work with any other people. You made something so identifiable to the 5 of you (Damon McKinnon included) that anyone else doing it just ain't gonna cut it. One of the greatest bands I've ever witnessed That first show si many moons ago(was possibly during the new dawn release or showdown at the espy) i just remember the band was fully kitted out in ninja gear and I'm l like this looks promising Then the music started and holy hell. It's been an incredible journey for me, my ears and the soul seeing the band grow Music is therapy Thank you for the music

You became one of my favorite bands of all time, but Im glad you arent waiting until shit really hits the fan before you called it. There will never be another Twelve Foot Ninja!
