As a Bayern fan, I was a bit pissed at the match in Madrid. But afterwards I recognized that this team were great. They took the French champion(PSG), the Italian champion(juve), the German champion(Bayern) and plus defeated Liverpool, a team that overwhelmed the English champion (city). With cr7, casemiro, Marcelo and bale in great shape, they made all of these results while beating these champions in their own home (PSG 1X2 RMD, JUV 0X3 RMD, BAY 1X2 RMD). Just a show of how strong they were.

From April 12th 2017 to April 11th 2018, Ronaldo scored 25 goals in 14 matches in UCL with most of those (16) coming in knockout stages with the longest scoring streak in UCL history recorded at the same time 😱😱😱 prove me wrong but no one is ever hitting those numbers ever again. Perez was foolish for selling Robben in 2009, because Robben would have filled that role seemlessly and Madrid would have dominated from 09 already. The only reason that issue was rectified was because Zidane insisted on buying Bale when he was Ancelotti's assistant.
Zidane saw the problem and fixed it for us, thank goodness.

Actually from the past seasons specially 17/18 we've faced so many hard teams just like in 21/22 season but we had Cristiano Ronaldo at that time, that's why we didn't feared and we didn't thought that it was impossible to win because when he is in the team, no matter what happens when he is in the team the possibility of winning goes with us, In 21/22 we won without him which was so awesome and so outrageous for oppositions, especially PSG you know because of Mbappe deals.
I agree, i do think 2018 ucl was indeed incredibly difficult, psg, juventus, athletico, and liverpool in the end, but the ronaldo factor was a thing so the pressure was not that hard even when the team was not performing, plus they did just come off of an all conquoring team, but in 2022 the ronaldo factor was gonna, benzema had to take it up, ramos and varane was out, marcelo and navas etc, plus the fact that them playing teams that were in their prime firing like chelsea, psg,man city and liverpool especially the latter 2, and they had to come from behind 2 times maybe 3 times if we count what happened in that chelsea game, i have to say 2022 was more difficult.
