The two greatest tenors of all time, easily.
Andrea Bocelli is one of my favourite musicians with a disability. God gave him a musical talent as a tenor singer, songwriter, and multiple instrumentalist. He was previously a lawyer before entering music and showbiz, and he became permanently blind due to his congenital glaucoma. Thank God for his music and his talent.
There is a purity and clarity to Bocelli's voice that really sets him apart. That with the beautiful emotional performance makes him absolutely first rate. Incredible.

Bocelli is not an opera singer, he is a pop singer. Listen to Pavarotti or Bruce Sledge to hear two of the best opera singers.
Luciano Pavarotti on my opinion is better and Andrea Bocelli is a pop singer

@@tmee1512 surely beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Though in this case the ear of the beholder. Yes Pavarotti has the most wonderful voice. But it doesn't touch my heart like Andrea's. It has nothing to do with him being blind. I simply prefer him. There is room for both/all. We are very lucky.

What "Nessun dorma" have got to do with immigration? I am an Italian speaking and an immigrant myself and I tell you there 's nothing in this aria connecting it to any immigration issue.

I agree completely with Joe Pollard 9476. With one exception. I believe Andrea Bocelli is the greatest Tenor of all time!! His voice is filled with such feeling and intense passion for whatever he renders. He doesn't overreach at the loss of the beauty and clarity of the song. From what I've heard, I would place him above the so called "Three Tenors." The legendary Luciano Pavarotti not withstanding. He's just a joy to listen to for one reason. YOU FEEL WHAT HE SINGS. MORE THAN ANY MAKE TENOR IVE HEARD. Bocelli may have lost his sight. He is still the greatest shining light in operatic music.
