Thouhh everything that happened in the MV has to do with their song's title. Samples are the broken statue of Aphrodite, the greek goddess of love, behind the four girls at the first chorus. There's also this scene in the car when Chaeyoung, that's her real name, not stage name, tried to kill her "inlove" and delicate self. The bow and arrow scene is also has a Greek Myth reference. The white one is Aphrodite and the one with the red gown or was it black, is the representation of Artemis. Artemis' weapon is bow and arrows, a gift from her dad, Zeus. It is said the Artemis and Aphrodite hated each other. And there, in that scene, Artemis tried to kill Aphrodite, which is the goddess of love, kill this love. Then, the bear trap, which means love is just a trap that will crush you and kill you. Things like that. There's also this four clover scene right after the English part after the chorus. When the two rappers sing-rap on English, after the "But you plus me sadly can be dangerous", there's this part there that Chaeyoung, the girl with a full of fog or ash-like background, held a four leaves clover. There's still some explanation I am too lazy to say, like the sereal part, and the heaven on the door in the same scene, the swans, the world love scattered around the video if you'll just check each scene carefully. What I love about these girl groups is that it's not the old format, with the way you mentioned "Who is the Beyonce of the group". The format is not always perfect, but it's a lot better than the evident imbalance you'd get in some group like say, Beyonce and her 'back up singers' or Nicole Scherzinger and the Rest of the Pussycat Dolls. I'm not a casual listener, but I don't think Little Mix had that problem, or 5th Harmony for that matter though...
They have signed with Interscope record If I’m correct that’s one of the biggest label in America . I would not be surprised if all of their songs will have an English version soon.
you don't need to feel embarrassed for mixing the two languages, if a person not used to foreign and Asian languages they'd easily mix things up, i grew up watching anime and listening to K-pop and some groups has Chinese and Thai members so that's why I'm used to it becuz i have experience with 'em, and don't expect everyone to go through the same experience as you (clearly pointing out for anyone who did or about to make a fuzz out of this) so it's fine if u can't point the differences between them❤️.

Blackpink does put a lot of english in their videos, but that is because the majority speak english. Rosé grew up in Australia, Jennie went to school in New Zealand, Lisa grew up in Thailand and here dad speaks english.

One thing you'll learn about kpop groups is that there's no such thing as the "Beyoncé of the group". Unlike western groups where only one member gets lines and only one person stands out, kpop groups usually are more fair. They try to allow all members to get screen time and lines. Of course naturally some will have more than others because of skill but it won't be just kne person singing and everyone else being backup. Also, in kpop they like to give multiple member solo activites. They'll be in a group but they might still let members have solo songs or work on their own acting projects,etc. Basically they give members chances to shine individually as well as being in the group. Blackpink is very popular. The most popular members internationally are Jennie and Lisa. They're both rappers. In Korea the most popular members are Jennie and Jisoo.

There's actually alot the happened in the MV, which means music video, and I'm dying to explain them all to you. But I'm too tired to type. Lmao. Thouhh everything that happened in the MV has to do with their song's title. Samples are the broken statue of Aphrodite, the greek goddess of love, behind the four girls at the first chorus. There's also this scene in the car when Chaeyoung, that's her real name, not stage name, tried to kill her "inlove" and delicate self. The bow and arrow scene is also has a Greek Myth reference. The white one is Aphrodite and the one with the red gown or was it black, is the representation of Artemis. Artemis' weapon is bow and arrows, a gift from her dad, Zeus. It is said the Artemis and Aphrodite hated each other. And there, in that scene, Artemis tried to kill Aphrodite, which is the goddess of love, kill this love. Then, the bear trap, which means love is just a trap that will crush you and kill you. Things like that. There's also this four clover scene right after the English part after the chorus. When the two rappers sing-rap on English, after the "But you plus me sadly can be dangerous", there's this part there that Chaeyoung, the girl with a full of fog or ash-like background, held a four leaves clover. There's still some explanation I am too lazy to say, like the sereal part, and the heaven on the door in the same scene, the swans, the world love scattered around the video if you'll just check each scene carefully. You can check out some vids about it. There's quite a lot ofe xplanations.😂

What I love about these girl groups is that it's not the old format, with the way you mentioned "Who is the Beyonce of the group".
The format is not always perfect, but it's a lot better than the evident imbalance you'd get in some group like say, Beyonce and her 'back up singers' or Nicole Scherzinger and the Rest of the Pussycat Dolls.
I'm not a casual listener, but I don't think Little Mix had that problem, or 5th Harmony for that matter though...

you don't need to feel embarrassed for mixing the two languages, if a person not used to foreign and Asian languages they'd easily mix things up, i grew up watching anime and listening to K-pop and some groups has Chinese and Thai members so that's why I'm used to it becuz i have experience with 'em, and don't expect everyone to go through the same experience as you (clearly pointing out for anyone who did or about to make a fuzz out of this) so it's fine if u can't point the differences between them❤️.
