Apart from the cuteness this video brings, I had such a good laugh with the tree thing, seeing you as every cat owner has to learn : You never own a cat, cat owns you!
Dean, maybe it was "only" a trip to shop for food, but just seeing you & Nala has made my entire day!!! I am very glad that you & Nala got out for a little while, & I hope that you will continue to send videos, even if it is only small adventures like this one!!! I am happy that you are both well, & I pray that you stay safe!!! Needless to say, I look forward to the next adventure, no matter how small!! So many people absolutely LOVE you & Nala, that it would be a real tragedy if the videos stopped ... PLEASE keep making them!!!
I love this man (over 1,000 comments and probably no one will read this, but ...) That's been said so much it's ridiculous, but when he was happy to show us his new shoes ... that's every kid in the world. Michigan
I really liked it when you guys left your accommodation to go shopping, you closed the gate and Nala couldn’t see you she extended her head to the max to see where you were. Also when she was up the bloody tree and took ages to come down. Nala enjoyed herself while you were having a nervous fit. Continue looking after your selves and keep safe. Nb Maybe show us some of your cooking skills? 😊
I can't seem to get through any of your videos without getting all weepy (happy weepy). I can feel how much you love that sweet little girl and it absolutely fills my heart. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us - please do take care of yourself and Nala. xoxo
He might think a video like this is a boring, slow day, but I love these "slice of life" videos let me see how people in other countries live. I know I will likely never be able to travel as extensively as I like due to disabilities so I travel vicariously through videos. It also makes me happy to see that people in the rest of the world live just like I do. I wish others, especially my fellow Americans, could realize this and realize that we really ARE just one big global community, each with shared dreams and desires. Some countries are richer, some are not, but the people in each seem to want the same things in life. Besides, smiles are always in the same language and need no interpreters. ☺ You can call me a dreamer but I'm not the only one....
OMG, you two are sooo cute! Nala up the tree and you trying to coax her down. Adorable. Just the thing I needed to brighten my day. Thank you for posting.
Never thought that human with the cat will make me feel so much love! They are truly amazing spirits, free of all stupid conditionings and fears like we, ordinary people have... You are so detached from having comfort all the time, no worries, no matter what comes your way, taking everything as is without bad feelings or being judgemental. Thank you so much for sharing your story and opening so many hearts ! Please take care and stay safe.
Love how you promised Nala that she could play in the park if she came shopping with you. And she did have so much fun up that tree. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Loving it😻
Love the look of" how clever am I" on Nalas face when she came down from the tree. 😻🐜.Great video Dean, nice to see a well stocked supermarket on the other side of the world.🍻🏫🏫.
Okay going downhill to the shops...means UPHILL fully laden with Cashew milk! The shops look perfect, and Nala might have found a favourite tree! Thanks Dean 🇦🇺
Please Dean, ALWAYS carry with you a small packet of Nala's favourite treats (or kibble) so that when she doesn't want to come down trees or other places you shake the packet and the noise will attract her. It works everytime with my cats (not that they climb trees ...) and I have been adopting cats for almost 33 years ! I LOVED your video with all the BEAUTIFUL houses and gardens ! You are VERY lucky to be staying in such GORGEOUS place like that one ! Please, stay safe and healthy and that goes also for ALL of your followers all over the world ! LOTS of virtual hugs for you and cuddles for sweet Nala, from Portugal.
This was awesome! You tapping the bark and calling Nala back down from that tree reminded me of myself some four years ago, in my own yard! We have a huge tree, very old, some two storeys high and my cat, who was a kitten then, climbed all the way up and didn't know how to get back down. After almost an hour of desperate meows and visible distress(from him) and desperate calls and begging and visible distress( from me) he magically found his way down. Maybe my husband climbing on the roof of the neighbour's house had something to do with that... Stay safe, both of you. Greetings from Romania!😽
Ah, a cat in quarantine needs to be out too, no doubt: Nala relax/coping by watching the birds. You're a good cat daddy! And at least you got to cycle, which must be pleasing. Today, I waited in a long queue outside Asda for half-an hour; my shopping took 15 mins! Take care in your fab home-from-home. Best to just relish this quiet time, no need to rush. Stay safe
Thank you Nala. For taking me grocery store shopping. I have never seen a grocery store like that in my life. Amazing. Our grocery stores look like dirt mounds. I like climbing trees, running in fields, and riding in my bike basket as well. And yes I worry the stick out of my human idiot when I refuse to come down trees or leave the fields. Ride on. Mo the cat of Satchel.
Any trip with Nala is bound to be exciting in some way! Though shopping seems more of an adventure for everyone these days. Everyone should get to experience the kind of love that you two share.
She is sure a climber! None of my cats has ever liked to climb trees like that :-) What a lovely spring day you had for your grocery run and park time for Nala. That's a nice stash of food on the counter - hope you had a good time cooking. Stay safe Dean and Nala!
So excited - you've made my day! I know I'm gong to love this new video!! LOVED your day out with Nala! And shopping can be tricky with a cat crying in your backpack! I also can't believe you bought all that food and bicycled it home! How did you do that? Loved the tree monkey! She was determined to get her play time in. What a beautiful area you are in. Looking forward to the tour around the lake when you decide to do it. Love to you both. Stay safe and healthy XOXO
I love how he posts..oh Nala can't go in (Dean says..the hell I'm leaving my girl out here)- I knew I heard her meowing in the store. I love how he's such a rebel
Dean, I think Nala was just happy to go exploring in that tree. A change from being in the 'basket'. :) She is patient, and this time round she was testing you patience. :D hahaha Great Video! Cheers! Mick
"Three mile cycle, mostly downhill." My first thought? That means it's a 3 mile cycle, mostly UPHILL, while weighed down wit groceries, to get back. Yikes! 😯 You should consider carrying cat treats and train Nala to come for treats.
Greetings of from Canada! It's interesting to see how others are dealing with the social distancing and trying to stay safe. I work in a big box stores that sells groceries etc. I'm working five in a row. I WISH I could stay home but I wouldn't get paid unless I get sick. My employer is paying an extra two dollars an hour during the month of April so there's an incentive to stay and pick up as many shifts as allowed. We don't have a time limit for customers to shop but are controlling how many customers are in the store at once. Toilet paper, facial tissues, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, masks and boxes of gloves are still mostly sold out. We continue to limit purchases of milk, eggs ,cheese, bags and cans of pet food, and cat litter. It's challenging for me to find cat food to keep more than two weeks worth on hand to feed our kitties and three outdoor community cats. Wearing masks hasn't been recommended by our government yet. Lots of people are buying 100 percent cotton bandannas and materials to make masks. I'm tired. I don't have time to watch movies or read a book. Hope everyone and their friends and family stays safe. 🐈 💓 🐕 :'(
it was interesting to see the progression of items that got sold out because it was very similar pattern in most stores. First to go was the toilet paper which led to all paper products. Hand sanitizers, bleach, germ cleaners, and anything containing rubbing alcohol also went early. Then it was a progression of foods starting with meats, eggs, bread and milk, then it moved to long term storage foods like pasta, rice, dried beans, breakfast cereals, sugar, and all canned foods. ...the one that surprised me was baking flour. Everyone became a homemade bread baker during all of this.... The current popular food to hoard is snack foods. Microwave popcorn, potato chips, cornchips + salsa, and cookies are all disappearing. Over the past few weeks, most staple food items have worked their way back onto store shelves. Finding a hoarded non-food item is still hit and miss. I haven't seen a spray can of Lysol or rubbing alcohol in weeks There's one store near me that always has hand sanitizer and it's been available there for 3 weekends straight. I know it's selling out and being restocked because the bottles are changing styles and there have been several brands. This has been an eye opening experience and i think it'll turn everyone into a little bit of a prepper. That's probably too strong of a word. We will all have certain things around even though we'll likely never use them.
@@littlegoobie Thank you for working so hard and keeping the rest of us supplied! You're right about prepping, I've started watching several channels now.
You made our day Nala, you had us laughing , you are only doing what cats do, as we know. We have a british shorthair cat called Jesse James. It was very interesting of your grocery shopping, Dean, good to see you are well stocked. We always look forward to hearing from you both. Lots of love from Geoff and Pauleen from Tasmania. xxx
Yea, she finally came down! I always enjoy seeing her reactions to the surroundings and when you interact with her! Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Nala is such a sweet, good kitty! Her eyes are beautiful. Where you are staying looks like a very good place to stay for the lockdown. You might be there for many months to come. Keep enjoying the great weather!
Yeah man, when my kitty goes down in the crawlspace where i don't want her to be, I just shake her little canister of Temptations treats and she runs right up. lol.
Some kitties are not food motivated. We have 5 - some that would def work w/, others not so much. When we still had the original 2 my Mom used to say about them, "Rascal eats to live, Boots lives to eat!"😂🐱😸
Geat video! We really needed something positive and fun. Nala is amazing how she goes up the trees and does finally come down, even though it is not on your time. She has her own time and you just have to adjust, which you seem to always do. Loved seeing the scenery and the food market, as I will never visit Hungary, accept thru your eyes. Great to see where and how you are living too. Keep the videos coming and lifting our spirits. Stay safe and well and make yourself a mask out of a scarf instructions are online everywhere.
Hi Dean, greetings from Malaysia. As a cat lover, I cannot help admiring you & Nala traveling together. All my best wishes & love for you both. Stay safe. Stay cool. Stay happy.
This is by far my favorite to watch. Dean & Nala really have awesome adventures! The music, the locations, the people are all beautiful. The world is truly filled with awesome people.
Nala behaved a little like a naughty child going up that tree. Oh my Nala your dad is so patient!

Your comments to Nala when she will not come down from the tree are absolutely cracking me up!🤣🤣🥰
The bond between you two is priceless. Money can't buy love & animals have unconditional love.
I cannot stop loving her giraffe toy and the fact it keeps following her!
Trying to get Nala out of the tree is exactly like trying to get a child to leave the park🤣🤣🤣

Nala revenge.. You stressed her out going into the shop. So she stressed you out not coming out of the tree. LOL Naughty Nala
I couldn't stop laughing when you were trying to entice her down from the tree! 🌳
Dean, I can't count how many times I stood begging up into a tree for a cat to climb down. I really felt for you, Sir.
I love this opening song. That song rises my spirit, just like watching their wee journey
