This is incredible. Especially the fact that he did this for himself. This is a work of serious, serious love. I was obsessed with star wars when I was a kid-teens, along with my two best friends. We would have flipped our shit and started either screaming of joy or crying if we had been in that room. And I'm talking as teens. It would have been a dream come true.
FWIW...that C-3PO/R2-D2 cardboard piece at 24:31 is part of the Attack of the Clones feature shop graphic kit for Toys R Us in 2002. It really isn't all that faded - 3PO was grey in that movie. Awesome collection!
Very impressive collection. Hopefully mine can be like that someday. I saw a very rare star wars items at a vintage toy store in Orlando. It was a xwing aces game with the box and it still worked 😮😮
They usually switched to different colors depending on availability. That could have been the issue. I had a Disney one with either a white or black handle, but it was the same box. I just wonder which color was rarer.
