Foxy came in the industry very young ....she seen and done alot she couldve been more protected i feel. I loved her strength the faith this woman have her spiritual inheritance to over come so much and keep her head up.
Til this day Fox is still #1 in my book. The industry never gave her her fruits . This is one reason why I respect Nicki so much because she paid Homage to the GOAT

This shit is hella sad. I respect her a lot for her contribution of being just a hella talented lyricist. That’s difficult to lose your hearing, but to be a rapper and lose your hearing, having to go to family members funeral, then jail on top of that. Hella sad, but black women have always exuded the type of strength that keeps us going through adversity. 💯💪🏾

Hi, All I know is Foxy Brown discovered this surgeon while watching the History Channel on a special about Ronald Reagan. Whoever that surgeon was that perform on Ronald ear problem, Foxy Brown used him. She has never mentioned his name publicly from my knowledgeable.

Humility is everything!. It's time to accept simplicity as a beautiful thing!. Focus on the real elements of life. Not the glamorous things, furs and cars and channel do not equate to happiness.
They actually can equate to happiness. Happiness is NOT only the things that YOU find simple. Cut it out with the entitled definitions of things. Ironically you're so self-absorbed into what YOU think one should feel and live like that you cant see where you lacc humility. HAPPINESS in its simplest form is having something to look forward too. For some ppl its just opening their eyes and that alone is fine, even if they live as a slave in a brothel. Some ppl are happy with waking up plus living check to check. I remember learning of Fox hearing loss. She went through it at that time, man. People kept trying her and making her look crazy.
That was a sad time. I remember when she was going thru ALOT before she couldn't hear. After she got surgery to fix her hearing I guess she just wanted to be a mom. It's really sad what happened to fox. She was top 5 female rapper at one point. Ppl was tryna push her to acting out of character. Inga wasn't raised to be a irrational person. Jayz did ALOT of manipulation to foxy brown. She thought jayz loved her...then started being cold to her outta nowhere.

@Erykah Kane I really believe that she has her hearing medically repaired now.but the thing got me is she never once said that no one visited her in the hospital she didn't even say anything about j.z. or anyone from the firm supporting or even helping her out with doctors bills while she was recovering from this whole situation. they really wouldn't be nothing without Foxx not even K.I.M.....

Such a tragic but we have to remember GOD doesn’t make any mistakes. He had a different plan for you.
What was his plan by making her deaf? The only thing they can do these days is by operating and placing a cochlear implant(electrodes in your cochlear) it’s becomes like a bionic ear. You hear peoples voices like robotic tones until your brain train’s itself again to acknowledge sounds. You can’t restore the hair cells once they stop working or bend. They are still researching hair cell rejuvenation. Might take another 5 years! Yes I have researched it cos it happened to me too.

A lot of fools were doubting her ability to hear! She was not lying or pretending, her way of speaking is definitely off due to her hearing loss! Maybe just Maybe God wanted her to be still and listen to him!! She threw shade saying she didn't have a reality show waiting to document her story like you know who, lil Kim!! This was so heartbreaking she was at the top of her game and it all went away due to her diva attitude!

Why won’t she tell us which operation she had to restore the hearing? I woke up deaf too, the only operation that helps is a cochlear implant but she refuses to tell us which operation...but why Foxy? Why? No need to be embarrassed!
She did have cochlear implant surgery. She mentioned her hearing didn’t come back instantly, it was a process... Her going to jail deteriorated her hearing, by it not being able to be treated properly. I remember when her lawyers tried to petition to get her sent to the specialists in California, but was denied…
Now if that’s the “only” operation to fix it what other options are u looking for
I only hear in my left ear so I know how anyone feels I am not totaljih deaf and thank God for that but I do think about old age and it can happened to me

MsAchampion when somebody goes deaf their voice changes drastically. It sounds the same to the person but not to us

she was crying. But the really quiet words she was saying is from being deaf. She doesnt understand when shes speaking up or speaking quietly. If she tries hard she can realize when she's whispering or talking loud but in a conversation it'll go in and out.

On her broken silence album she has a song called broken wings where she talks about the things that god has brought her through and that was years before she lost her hearing...so she was maturing in her music and talking about lots of things...she was very personal on that album...it wasn't all about money sex cars and clothes...check it out for yourself
