I did this kind of work in the 70's in a factory outside of Chicago making brake parts. Molding rubber, machining rotors and hubs and wheel cylinders. It was fun for six months but it wore down the folks who'd been there for years. btw, the parts we made that failed quality control but could still sort of be used were set aside for two labels, one a national auto parts chain that's been in business forever, the other a mail order catalog with super low prices. We made parts for maybe a dozen lables, a couple labels we'd have to do quality checks and machine to high standards, other took routine parts, the last would take anything. Same castings, same machining, just different levels of quality control.
I did these Jobs in South Germany ( In Karlsruhe ) in 1992 and 1993. After 2 Weeks I stopped working there. But there was a German lady she had beed doing this kind of work for 26 years and she had fun even after so long time. It depends on ability to get to used to it

Ear plugs? Safety glasses? Over all very clean looking factory, and impressive that they have dual press buttons with safety beam sensor. The "stamp" that makes the locomotive chugging sound at a rate of 400 times per second is so loud! Ours has a sound damping enclosure around it. Those people must lose their hearing working next to that. Cool video.
Looks like the coils are flattened out, look at it when she puts the piece in the machine, the coils are rounded and uneven, then look at it when the press lifts, they are flat and uniform.
I am in love with the tall girl. And, her SMT electric manufacturing. I'm assuming all the materials and techniques are flexible? I would need to get this going in the USA if possible. China is great and all, but just,....... 5,000 miles away.

As a 17 year old I worked in a meat processing factory. The work was repetitive but we had loads of fun telling jokes, whistling stupid tunes , singing and general tom foolery. Doesn't look like much fun in this factory. You would probably get the boot if you sneezed here.
It would be a miracle if those motors did not short-circuit the coils after a period of use, because of the rough way in which they handle the winding wires.
I cringe at the thought of working 8 (or more) hours a day, in any of those workstations, for the rest of my professional life... Very interesting video and amazing production capacity, notwithstanding. Wish there was a little more detail at the rotor balancing station - incredibly fast and, probably, fully automated.
The inexpressible joy on each and every one of those workers faces at the privilege of working in that place....is inspiring.
It seems you love this job very much!
