People use carplay and Android Auto more than any other part of car infotainment. Because 95% of new cars have a touchscreen, Apple/Google design their interfaces for touchscreens. It is unnecessarily difficult to use Carplay/Android Auto with a touchpad, to the point where I am waiting and holding to older models until the touchscreen is back.
I missed y’all. Funny. I had an Integra Type S join my MDX Type S in the garage. Absolutely love it. Bought the performance red pearl, added the bronze wheels and carbon fiber spoiler.
I am patiently waiting for Acura to provide an MDX Type S with a traditional gear shifter and a touch screen. The current touchpad and screen design are engineering mistakes. From a customer perspective I absolutely hate the touchpad.

I got a ITS for MSRP Aug 31, the dealer wanted ADM initially but gave in the last day of the month. Coming from a FK8, it’s a huge upgrade.
