SIR WHEN I DRAG THE MOUSE TO THE CORNER OF THE WALL THEN WALL GET SELECTED OTHERWISE SELECTION OF THE WALL IS NOT SHOWN. HOW TO FIX IT..?? PLEASE TELL ME
I have a question. I cant find anythign of this on the internet so thats why I want to ask you. When you place a family window in an outer wall which I refer to as a sandwich panel, and afterwards you want to place an inner wall right onto the sandwich panel so that you get an enclosure. You then get a gap in between the sandwich panel and the edge of the inner wall because it automatically spaces out that area for the window. Now is the question: How can I make the window/sandwich panel to ignore that gap? I tried to edit the wall profile, to disallow join of the inner wall, but so far no luck.
I love your videos. Here is an idea for some content. When placing walls it is nice to be able to align them with grid lines ( I get some Cad Dwgs done this way). However if the grid lines you are given align with a "side" face of the wall it creates some challenges for a relative newbie like myself. Case in point is the relationship between the foundation walls and the exterior walls. There is a ton of debate online over using the actual "7 5/8" measurement on a CMU or a nominal 8" and I don't wish to start a debate on this. Similar situations exist in a metric world when using US based components, they don't line up nicely. My struggle has been to try and distance elements from Grid Lines using their centre lines without doing the math and drawing additional detail lines to align to. Maybe I am going about it the wrong way and I am looking for something that does not exist. Can anyone point me to some information relative to this?
