Wow! It looks like you are the beauty youtuber I've been looking for! One who is super honest, talks about stopping mindless consumerism and shows the best of the best products always for those of us who buy minimal makeup and want to buy the best. I literally just made a comment on another of your videos decrying the lack of youtube videos that do this, keep a number one and see what kicks it out! THANK YOU!
My favorite setting powder is the one from Saie. I also hate powder because my dry skin looks sooooo dry with powder. But the Saie one gives me blurring and sets everything without looking dry. I can't even see it when it's on, and it almost melts into a satin finish. Beautiful stuff! And I thought I'd never have a favorite powder.
I wish Pat McGrath would come out with a palette of just her duochromes and special shades. I don't want to drop a bunch of money on a Mothership palette when all I really want are 2 maybe 3 shades. If she did a Mothership of just the special shades, I would throw my money at her.
I love a lot of your recommendations, I trust your reviews and love discovering new great makeup from your channel :) It's fun to look at how our makeup tastes change in just a year. I was thinking maybe your Tom Ford foundation would be kicked off the pedestal with all the great releases, I was wrong! Although i'm equally surprised to see the pat mcgrath concealer replaced by Huda, I'm a big fan of the Pat MG after you recommended it so now I want to try the Huda one if it's truly better, as Pat's one is amazing
I like the Lisa Eldridge glosses but I'm not a fan of the component. It's awkwardly shaped so that once you've used a third of the product the doe foot can no longer reach the gloss. You have to take out the stopper and move the gloss around so you can reach it, then when you get to the last third of the product you have to remove the stopper entirely and use a lip brush. I'd definitely prefer a softer applicator too, as this is fairly scratchy. The packaging lets it down and after going through two I'm not going to buy any more.
I’m shook Tatcha is not your n1 primer but I loved the option you gave I want to try it. Love this type of video and to add 80% of my make up is from what Mel made me buy I miss her very much 💕 midnight sun is one of many items you made me buy 😂 😝
I ditched silk canvas in favour of the Nikkia Joy primer. Ditched Pat Mcgrath concealer in favour of the Huda beauty one, Cle De Peau is still my favourite foundation
You like the Nikkia Joy? I thought of trying it. I love her loose powder. I love the silk canvas so I’m reluctant to try. But if you think is fabulous maybe I will try it! I was worried it may be too Matte.
@@veronicamcminn7775 I purchased the Nikkia primer also… I have to say it is nowhere near as good as silk canvas. It does not blur my pores like silk canvas or the Tarte. Possibly because the key is is a liquid as opposed to the Tatcha and the Tarte being putty’s 🤷♀️. Good luck.

I may have to think long and hard about most of these categories before choosing a favourite, but blush is one that is a no brainer in my house. We worship Pat's Desert Orchid and that's that. Really enjoyed this video Charlotte!
For me, Benefit 24hr Brow Setter is the ONLY thing that keeps my hairs up and in place!!. I brush it in backwards and let it dry a little, then brush it in the right direction and then press them down with my finger... 😎✌🏼💜
The nozzle on the Charlotte Tilbury large bottle is so much better. It’s a much finer mist. My continued repeat fave is also the push up lashes. Sooo good.
The Pat McGrath Midnight Sun is still on sale. I researched makeup sites the other night and decided to settle on the Nars site wide sale. I purchased 2 minis, blush and bronzer as well as the Illumination foundation, all for $65. I thought that was a great price for 3 items. If I don't like the minis, not a great loss, I can pass them on without breaking my heart lol. I looked at every single palette on the PM site and really studied the colors. The Midnight Sun, for me, would get more use because of the color theory, not just because it was on sale. But thank you for your in depth reviews.
same, I like Loreal Beauty Tubes tubing mascara and maybelline Sky High for when I want bigger lashes. I want to try Caliray, but I refuse to spend that much on mascara....unless for some reason it totally is really worth it
I just came across your channel and I can't stop watching your videos! My favorite foundation is the La Mer "The Soft Fluid Longwear" I really recommend it!
Yes, the sample size CT mascara has definitely been the worsy mascara I've ever tried. It even smudged when I just had a zoom call around the house. Now I'm curious to see if the full size will work for me.
I would like to report that yes, I used the full size of Push up lashes, and this mascara was absolute goals, then it finished I bought travel size of that same mascara, and the effect from it is nowhere near the full size version!
How did you get that look with Midnight Sun? I decluttered that palette because it was too dark for me and difficult to work with. I see people make beautiful looks with it, but I hated it every time I used it. So, I'm very curious how you got such a light and bright look with it?
Got the CT mini mascara as my bday gift from Sephora & was so excited because you rave about it, but it smudged so bad on my bottom lashes.. now, your theory has me wanting to try the full size!!
I tried the full size Charlotte Tilbury mascara and don't care for it. However, I know my preferences in mascara performance are different than yours. It clumps too much, makes my eyes dry and itchy, and leaves a lot of fallout (probably because I touch my eyes because it makes my eyes itchy). Hi Charlotte 👋. Was just wondering if you buy the Victoria beckham beauty? I've just recently bought their eyeshadow brick in signature and would love some inspiration in using it. Also have you tried the lipsticks? They're amazing! Hope you're well hunny xx
I got the Lisa Eldridge dragon gloss too! The color is so pretty!!! And YES to the Charlotte tilbury setting spray! It's so good! It holds like nothing else and doesn't change the finish of your makeup. And it also is alcohol free which is great for my sensitive skin. Love that stuff!
I love that you don't wear eyeliner on the top or bottom today. I use dark eye shadow for both but most of the time I don't do any eye liner look of the top, I do do a dark crease (blended). Hard lines are something I don't like.
I’ve always struggled with mascara on my bottom lashes. It just looks like charcoal gray shading and it is not attractive… The beautiful Mel Thompson had mentioned that she used a tubing mascara for her bottom lashes🤯. I pulled out my Thrive mascara that I did not like at first, but like most mascaras it got better over time👏👏👏. I now love it❤️. My lashes just grow and grow and grow with that mascara… Just need to be careful of clumps. One good coat and your lashes look fabulous you don’t even need a second coat but of course I pile it on🤷♀️. When I put the Thrive on my bottom lashes they look fantastic. I like that Betty Boop lower lash look, somewhat spidery. The tubing mascara was definitely the answer. I now love doing my bottom lashes👏👏👏👏👏. Just one more thing I am thankful for Mel🥺… she was so talented and taught me so much❤️.
I will definitely buy the Huda concealer because of you after I finish the Nars one (also have the Rose inc but I need at least one to go before a new one 😅) I was also rooting so much for the VB bronzer!! I sadly broke mine badly during a fall and will be buying a refill but I tried the last bit of it today after using the Rose Inc/Vieve (Dawn palette) one for a month and... The VB is supreme in how natural it looks ❤️ shame for the price 🙈 And always do the video formats that work for you, we'll be happy either way x
I really enjoyed seeing how your preferences have changed! Mimirose is my ultimate fav! I’m dying to try the RMS blush. You have me interested in midnight sun now. Mascara is a tie between the Caliray and Rare beauty.
I had the full size Charlotte mascara first and loved it. I got the smaller size for travel and I couldn’t wait to be done with it and get the full size tube again.
I only came to watch because you had the Charlotte tilbury mascara up. I wanted to see if you had the same opinion as me on it but you don’t..😅but I’m glad you mentioned that someone else did because I don’t like it either (I got the full size) but It really does go to show how everyone has different experiences with things. I thought I was going crazy 😂
I’m obsessed with the RMS blushes! Bought 1, then bought the other 5. (Oops!) My complexion is pretty fair, but I find that each shade still works for me. (Hanky Panky was an unexpected love.) They are GORGEOUS! Also fell in love with the Chantecaille Anti-Aging Face Tint this year…perfect for a 5 minute makeup routine. Loved hearing about your favorites, thanks for sharing! xo

I absolutely love PML midnight sun it's gorgeous. CT setting spray is still my favourite setting spray. I used to love the CT flawless foundation but now thats charged it's now the Nars light reflecting foundation absolutely love it and my skin has changed alot in the last 12 months, i have my acne under control now so i want more medium coverage now less full coverage. My brows are still the same it's the Benifit 24hr brow setter, goofproof and Huda Beauty bombbrows. Great video
I love your eyebrows. I really don't like heavy, dark eyebrows, and yours are very nice. I like the color altho it is a little red for me. But they do flatter your face without standing out like Groucho Marx brows. Being a senior, I have none of your recommendations from last year or this year lol. My fav lipstick/gloss is Chanel Rouge Coco Flash in the color Jour. Matches my lips well adding just a tiny bit of color, and my fairer (but with rosacea) skin tone. Having Rosacea all my life, blush was always my least favorite product, never used it due to the redness of my skin.
I have purchased so many things because you even though we have different skin tones and i have been happy with everything. i love rms blush i wore it today to work in Sangria just stunning. I plan to get maidens blush for the fall time
I absolutely hated that Charlotte tilbury mascara….but it was the travel size. Will def try the full size as so many people absolutely rave about it. I also need all of the Lisa Eldridge liners and glosses 😂 x
OK, I've got the large size hourglass primer. It's going to take ages to get through as I have a few more primer brands lurking in second and third drawer but no Tom Ford primer 😭
Travel size or full size, (Charlotte Tilbury mascara), it should preform the same. Unacceptable that it doesn’t. I’ve tried the full size and it was awful. It was so dry, it was like I had it for years. Returned it the next day
Totally good choices but I am wondering about the mascara - CT? I tried Lancome Grandiose and it was phenomenal- the difference is that longevity of Lancome is like ×10 more, doesn't go under your eyes and you get the same effect. The price is the same...
I loved the Charlotte Tilbury contourwand but somehow the dark shade is perpetually out of stock. The lighter one seems to always be in stock. Very annoying because it’s my favourite for contour.
Hi. Does anyone know if the Tom Ford primer have a scent to it? It does not list fragrance as an ingredient but that doesn’t always mean that a product has no scent. Thank you for any help!!!
Is the Tom Ford foundation fragranced? The corresponding concealer is so fragranced I am debating just throwing it away. I tried to use it but I can’t stand it.
Hmm. I tried the Charlotte Tilbury mascara in the mini size too. Didn't like it. Curious now about the fullsize. But I do think that a mini should be a proper presentation of how the product performs. There shoudn't be a difference. Still a bit curious now.

Great review on your fav's👍💯❗
Do you have access to One Size? They have a great setting spray.
Definitely a few surprises!!! Love this video!!!!!
I love hearing your updated faves!
I have love pillow talk mascara so I brought the travel size one to take on holiday and it was rubbish 😩
You mentioned the pat mcgrath highlighter from last year but didn’t mention the color? Can you please let me know. Thanks love your videos.
❤❤ Thank you for this video! I love it!
Fabulous review Mrs H!❤️ At the risk of sounding a bragger I have most of makeup mentioned( mainly off the back of your reviews). Love, love, love the the Tom ford primer and Victoria Beckham bronzer the best 😍 expensive they are but feel so chic when I apply them! The Dior Addict lipsticks are next on my wish list to buy! Love your channel 👏💞
Don't feel bad. Your family comes first!
i was suprised about the blush!!
I was surprised with the blush. My number one and has been for a number of years is guerlain meteorites
I love all the colour tops/ vests xx
Oooh I just picked up midnight sun on sale. My 1st Pat palette. Yay!! Excited to get.
It was my 1st too. It's OK for me. Not my favorite as its too much like the Jungle Lights palette I own by Flower Beauty. I'm gonna try the 10 maybe.
@@sureiseeyou hoping to get no. 10 when on sale as well. Those colours look so wearable.
@@derilyjoy yes. I agree. Very wearable.
Me too! I hope I like it.
@@adawinford6511 I'm 55 Ada so not sure if too pigmented & will accentuate my crepey eyelids but I'm dying to try. Even just a 1 & done with the green or taupe will be pretty I think 😀
I did get the mini CT mascara…it was so so dry…I was very sad :(
Maybe need to try the full size…🧐🤨
Hey Charollet..u won’t believe before u say I knw the ans m so surprised I knw most of ur favs❤️❤️👌👌love the video…
I have purchased so many things because you even though we have different skin tones and i have been happy with everything. i love rms blush i wore it today to work in Sangria just stunning. I plan to get maidens blush for the fall time
Maiden’s Blush is amazing
I absolutely hated that Charlotte tilbury mascara….but it was the travel size. Will def try the full size as so many people absolutely rave about it. I also need all of the Lisa Eldridge liners and glosses 😂 x
I have the full size CT mascara and it gives me raccoon eyes and stick straight lashes 😂
u have to try them all on sometime!! but i still appreciate u❤️
OK, I've got the large size hourglass primer. It's going to take ages to get through as I have a few more primer brands lurking in second and third drawer but no Tom Ford primer 😭
I tried the travel size Charlotte Tilbury Mascara, looks great but flakes off throughout the day tempted to get the full size now
Travel size or full size, (Charlotte Tilbury mascara), it should preform the same.
Loved this video! ❤️
i've google brow lamination, but still don't really understand what it does? a perm for your brows?
im so excited for this video ❤️❤️❤️
I loved the Charlotte Tilbury contourwand but somehow the dark shade is perpetually out of stock. The lighter one seems to always be in stock. Very annoying because it’s my favourite for contour.
Hi. Does anyone know if the Tom Ford primer have a scent to it? It does not list fragrance as an ingredient but that doesn’t always mean that a product has no scent. Thank you for any help!!!
The CT mascara is the opposite for me. I tried the travel size and liked it enough to buy the full size. The full size betrayed me. 😂😂
Same!!!
What shade in the Huda concealer are you please?
