Tanzanians including Zanzibaris are some of the most friendly people on earth. You will not only feel safe in Tanzania but also feel very respected and appreciated. Some of thier police can sometimes be a little silly but by and large, Tanzanians are great easy going human beings. Tanzania is one country where a foreigner can live happily.
Tayo Aina your lucky to have grown up in this digital generation, your living your dreams, and passion. You creating your own reality, you manifest. Your close your eye on negative side of Nigeria, you don't complain, about all the negativity of Nigeria, you have confidence, that things will alright, you refuse to run away, like my generation did, but still picking the piece up. Carry on Tayo.
Young Nigerians don't understand when I tell them they have it better today than we did. How far they go today is only limited by their imagination. In my day, to do business, we were busy jostling for decrepit 'molue' buses to see a business partner in the other side of town who may or may not be 'on seat' when we arrive. Just to schedule a meeting could take an entire month. Mobile phones were non-existent, no internet or email, and telephone services were very limited. Today, this dude can just start a RUclips channel for free, buy a drone, and start filming with his phone from his backyard, broadcasting to the entire world in real-time, and voila! Dollars start to roll in! 😇

You have a well articulated educated guy as a co-host.he took the channel away from you.i just said let him continue speaking. He is making a lot of sense.
true he schooled him fair and square. at the same time it just showed how most Nigerians have little knowledge about the outside world and live in a bubble of ignorance, squalor and just plain lack of adventurous spirit. How could octopus make you purge. How could you look at skids jumping off a cliff to have fun and ask why they were doing so or was it for a prize. look at the hesitation to take espresso. and how could you grow up in Lagos and never tasted squid in your life. hopefully Tayo Aina will open Nigerian eyes to how to truly live

Tanzania is the Best country in Africa peaceful people live side by side i peace nd harmony. May God/Allah continue to move this country forward. X Tayo for taking us along on your fabulous journey you have the right guy taking u around hang with him.
@Ike Naija what he simply meant is for example, natural resources like beaches are been privately owned and controlled the government in conjunction with royal families which isn’t meant to be! because it was created by God. And I must also mention changing the narrative isn’t always easy because the lil you do will be sabotaged by the corrupt governance we have. Take for example in Lagos small business owners pay a lot of heavy tax incentives with no support even basic amenities like steady power supply and security still remains a problem in Nigeria as a whole.
@Ike Naija there are plenty of people who are trying. Plenty of people who tried to speak up against corruption and were left to hang out to dry by their own people and brutalized by their government. Countries with absurdly corrupt governments face difficult challenges because corruption RARELY rewards the countries most talented people. It suppresses them. Nigeria at the basic level has a poor lending industry, a poor mortgage industry, poor insurance industry, poor banking industry. Innovation is not fueled by dreams, its fueled by MONEY. Most nigerian citizens dont have it.
You can't change a narrative when majority of a nation's people mentality is precisely it's downfall. Am sure not many Tanzanians are well-off yet they strive in proud human decencies from its history, culture, and to its economic relations without and beyond. As observed by Aina freedom to move freely at night that am afraid was created by a people who irrespective of its lack take pride in their love and respect for self and visitors. Most Nigerians are too greedy and blindsided by ignorance to even try being decent to themselves, families or other tribes let alone respect for working hard to change negative view of them. Nigerians problem is resource cursed leading to stupid entitlement mentality amongst it's population
I am lucky to have visted beautiful Zanzibar all the way from Uganda spending splendid time at Alhabab school. I remember the boat cruise from Dar es salaam port to Zanzibar port on Kirimanjaro 5 and 6
