What about wi fi though? IOS does not have a setting where you can disable wi fi just for WhatsApp, only cellular data.

Thanks man, switching off the cellular data is a great idea and the sender will also not get 2 tics I guess as WhatsApp can’t confirm receipt with no data. Thanks!

@@nyxtatinofthenight9282hey I found a way in my phone about Whatsapp there is a option data storage in which we can disable wifi or disable cellular data ...if we disable wifi it means Whatsapp is notable to run or use wifi...which is perfect solution....try it...
