Thanks for posting this. Not everyone has a record player and these EP's are relatively hard to find. I just ordered a copy from Discogs and I'm waiting for it to come in. I f*cking LOVE Corrupted!!! I don't think anyone would deny that the classic material has Hevi on the mic. The current status of the band is unknown. They had a female vocalist for several years but I don't think they're going to continue with her. Who knows? They've always been very private and about 80% of their stuff is on vinyl only. I've tried to show Corrupted to others and they just say, "I've heard heavier." They don't seem to understand... Corrupted has been the darkest, heaviest band since 1995. I have yet to hear anything that even comes close to this level of doom. Please make some suggestions...but I still stand by Corrupted's catalog.
Glad you enjoy this band too! "Corrupted has been the darkest, heaviest band since 1995." I have to concur. No one does it like them. Take an album like Llenandose de Gusanos.. Or El Mundo Frio.. It's apparent that they make this music for no one but themselves and could care less about the rest of the music scene. Sure, they had their influences early on (the band Grief comes to mind, both sonically & aesthetically via album art styling), but for me, they epitomize doom.
@@ivanvoronov2763 Ah yes, Ahab was the first _funeral doom_ band I ever heard. I'll never forget that night, hotboxing in my first car with my brother, listening to a local radio station.. "Yet Another Raft of the Medusa" came on and our lives changed forever.
Man this is the last corrupted I bought, one of the finest releases too, is the final outing of hevi not sure, listen mainly to contemporary classical nowadays.
This band is the template for how to do it right. Love these EPs.

Steve Fleetwood Yeah, this release is a classic in my book. And to my knowledge, Garten Der Unbewusstheit was Hevi's last album with the band

On feb 16 corrupted release new 12inch vinyl on cold spring recs (in uk). As part of a series of new releases called the hollow series.
