Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the MAMACOO, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Huge fan of Michael Strahan. Seeing a glimpse into his collection makes me a bigger fan. Some of these comments? Most of you are either jealous or haters. Sure, he's not a scholar in horology. Who says you need to be to enjoy collecting amazing watches.
Don’t need to be a scholar to know the difference between a nautilus and an aquanaut and a RO and an offshore. Wouldn’t be commenting but he comes off as knowing what he’s talking when he probably has a friend that tells him what is cool to buy.
@@WristfullIgnorance it’d be nice if he knew at least a little something beyond what’s on the marketing brochures. because he’s doing an interview about watches
Oh wow, a bunch of Rolexes and a Patek. About the only interesting choice there is the Gerald Charles but no, Genta designed neither the Aquanaut or the AP Offshore.
It's called the "John Mayer Rolex" because Mayer talked about it being a sleeper hit on Hodinkee's Talking Watches and it sparked a huge interest in the watch and the demand went crazy. Mayer is *that* influential in the watch world.
@@WristfullIgnorance You don't need a PhD in horology but some basic homework would be great. I'm not shitting on the interviewee here. I'm just sharing why it's called the "John Mayer Rolex".
Hey Mike, you should come out to Chicago for the 2025 Minutes and Hours Watch fair to saturate yourself with watch makers and enthusiasts. I'm positive that you'll enjoy it.
Am I really the first comment..? Sweet! You guys should do more of theses type of Watch content, I think the public will like it, especially us watch nerds.
Nice watches (especially the patek and le mans) but he doesn't really know what he is talking about. Also probably not the best time to be talking about his friend Jay Z
Whole bunch of broke “watch experts” on the comments lol, this guy clearly said he enjoys the hobby more because of his friends he surrounds himself with, and he just likes to have fun.
@@cookingwithwatches it’s…. The dial. Maybe you could refer to the face as the entire front of the watch but he’s trying to say the dial is blue. You don’t say “it has a blue face”. It’s like saying your face is red when just your nose is red
What’s worse than someone who is clueless is some who is clueless that thinks he is not. Gerald gents did not design the aquanaut or RO offshore in fact it is widely rumored he hated what they did with the offshore in bastardizing his original design. Yes the names can be confusing but get it right on the watch collection show lol 😂
@@WM-tl7zw also saying he saw the gold and green Daytona on Mayers wrist and Jonah hills wrist? that’s not why it’s called the “John Mayer” it’s because of the hodinkee episode that popularized it…which he clearly has never viewed 😂
Not hating but just sharing, Emmanuel Gueit was the one who designed the offshore while GG designed the Royal Oak. So not entirely right to say GG designed the Offshore 😅 And honestly his collection looks awesome! 🤩
Clearly doesn't know anything about these watches just a rich guy who gets our locations just because he's famous. Talking about how Gerald genta came up with the aquanaut and offshore is hilarious
I love watching your videos and MAMACOO to keep myself updated on the world of watches
Love your channel with so many stellar watches! For me the MAMACOO’ watch is my favorite. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.

I’m curious, do you have a professional broker who helps you with your investments? If so, I’d love to learn more about how you work with them.

He has no knowledge of watches at all, he's just rich and can buy them. What's the point of these interviews?
Rich and famous very important for those allocations!
Beautiful collection ❤️

Same Mike who stood with his hands down to his side while they played the National Anthem weeks ago on Veterans Day weekend
Those are some amazing watches, the ice blue Daytona is upwards of $100K.

Dude knows nothing about watches he’s literally just saying what his AD told him word for word from the marketing brouchure
Typical hater
he might not know squat, but his bank account certainly understands 😅
So true
Always that one person…I guess someone has to do it.
He knows enough, and like he says it’s all about his friends that share the hobby with him.

The guy got money for expensive watches but don't have money to fix his tooth 😂😂😂

Ouch. Gerald genta did the nautilus and the royal oak. not the aquanaut and offshore. Cmon mike!
He called the dial “The face” 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Nice collection!! And a role model of a human. Need to see you on Hodinkee asap!!
They sold this guy a lemans smh
Why would you do this with Forbes and a Gen Z girl who knows nothing about watches?
So much of this is sad to witness.
