You know, I think it's a few episodes after this that they do that Trial thing in the big black nothingness and Barbas was there. It was indicated that The Cleaners had been assigned to the Charmed Ones from the VERY beginning. If that is the case, why didn't they use their powers when Prue died? Of course I know the real reasons why but they need better consistency in a story, like maybe Prue's death triggered The Cleaners.

I KNOW RIGHT!! I remember getting so so so mad at the time with this storyline, they completely destroyed the logic and dramatic tension and coherence of the WHOLE show!! And I find it kinda scandalous that not one person in the whole team was able to see it and stop it from happening. I was hoping they would save it with the trial episode but they only made it worse. I remember coming up with my own fanfiction about it to try to explain it all and make it right (like Sam the whitelighter bargaining with an Angel of destiny at the time he dated Patty because he wanted a child with her but it was impossible because the prophecy had always been about the power of three, not of four. But he succedeed in getting what he wanted with the help of his Elder friend Gideon and by making the angel of destiny drunk -lol- and changing destiny, i.e. allowing Paige to be concieved. But because it wasn't meant to be, the consequences went out of control: Prue died - because of the power of three there could not be 4 sisters-, which changed the chain of events, Piper and Leo never got to concieve the little girl we see in that episode when Phoebe burns at the stake in the future, and they concieved Wyatt instead who should never have been born in the first place, destined to turn evil. I don't remember all the details but when the Angel of destiny realised he had been abused by Sam and Gideon I think he erased the memory of the cleaner's from everyone's mind to make the death of Prue happen, and the reason Gideon tried to kill Wyatt is because he felt guilty to see the result of his actions, that little boy, a threat to humanity who was not destined to be born. Muh, it was a little stronger than that, I don't remember it all x) )
anyway, that whole Cleaner storyline is in complete contradiction with the episode in which Prue dies and I'll never forgive the writers! shame on you all, shame shame.
