How to fix Netflix not loading on smart TV

    I recently had a problem with Netflix on my LG smart TV, it wouldn't load up. This is how to fix the loading problem.

    Thanks it worked!After deactivation, go into the Netflix icon, but wait 10 secs or more... be patient to let it come to the sign in page.Had to do twice but patience and perseverance needed

    Thank you!! After a few weeks going between netflix and my ISP with no resolution this fixed it! Should have known better and checked RUclips first!

    Had problem yesterday on my Panasonic 65" plasma TV. Worked great for 2 years prior and then for no apparent reason had same problem as shown on above video (freezes on first dot on Netflix page). All other apps on TV still worked and I could connect to Netflix on other devices. Tried all recommended fixes on TV including trying to deactivate account on TV. ( I don't think that the TV ever communicated to Netflix to actually make this happen.) Nothing Worked! Finally did a factory reset on the TV. THIS WORKED. However, had to reestablish all accounts and Wi-Fi connections. took about an hour. Hope this was a permanent fix!

    This is not a solution, it's a workaround! What is actually causing these smart TVs to loose their login? My TV sometimes crashes like this especially in between episodes of series. Switching the TV off, accessing Netflix with laptops no problem at all, internet access speedy and no hickups but still if I switch on my TV again I need to sign-out and sign-in to get it working which I find VERY annoying. Weird thing is, that I never had this problem until guests removed my account during their holiday in my home, then after I removed theirs and installed mine and the this problem began to happen. I reset the TV even to factory defaults but just every so many weeks this keeps on happening :-( grrr

    For all those who are unable to solve the problem here’s the solution (it worked on lg tv)
    Go to 👇
    setting > smart tv setting > change country for premium content (i have selected Australia) > then go to reset ( select Netflix deactivation) >then go to premium and open Netflix app sign in using your id and password. 😎

    This post is if no option button is available as asked below. I found the sequence located on my LG by following this path (-- means click) starting from the home screen--SETUP--NETWORK (picture of globe)--Smart TV Setting--RESET--NETFLIX DEACTIVATION go to Netflix and log in. Thanks very much for this post as I was finally able to get out of the up up down down right left crap the Netflix Wonk gave me for this problem. .

    We cannot find the options menu in order to deactivate Netflix.
    We continue to get the error "We're having trouble loading this title. Please try again later or select a different title." but get the same thing on ALL of them. No one else seems to have this problem or are able to fix it by uninstalling and re-installing Netflix.
    Do you perhaps know how to fix this? We have an LG Smart TV as well.

    Didn't work for me. Deactivated several times. I can get into RUclips, but Netflix just cycles and returns to the net menu with no error.

    My problem is the sign on screen comes up wrong, so I can't sign into Netflix. It works fine on our older LG TV with an external separate router but not on our newer LG smart TV. I've heard that this is a common problem but haven't found a solution yet.

    I tried following your instructions but when I get to my LG premium section there is nothing which says "options". I can't tell exactly what you are clocking on because the video isn't the best and you wiggle the cursor around over three different icons, but the one it looks like you click, the tiny green square in the lower right corner of the screen says "add to my apps" not "options". Any advice?

    i have a vizio and there is a button in the middle of the remote if i press that button it is supposed to load up to where i can choose netflix youtube and all that but all it gives me is a loading sign i am 12 so if you know how to fix this can you tell me how please??

    I have tried what u have showed us to do, i nave a phillips tv , and it still just tries to load and then returns to main page , i can open and use youtube but netflix will not even load at all for me to even reactivate (sign in) after i deactivated :( plzzzzzzzzz help me

    Hi.
    I had this the other day on my 60" LG TV. It seems to be a regular problem, and is something that seems to be reported a lot by literally Thousands of people. I just had an up-date for the TY, which I noticed has made some changes including the Netflix side of things.
    But, seeing as I had to go through this procedure all over again it indicates that they have either not been able to identify what the problem is, or are just too incompetent to fix it.
    Either way, we have spent a small fortune on our TV's, Pay Netflix a monthly subscription and yet have to fix it ourselves because they can't?
    Unacceptable.
