Joanna Jimenez So glad this was helpful!!! Thanks so much for the video suggestions. I’ll def look into making those down the road. Initial thoughts on visitors after baby is it is totally dependent on when baby is born (preterm or full term) AND the visitors in question lol. With my twins since they were born a few weeks early I was more strict knowing they were already more at risk. My immediate family and closest friends were allowed to visit. I was just suuuper strict on people being clean (washing hands and hand sanitizer) for the first couple months. I also made it clear that if they even were around anyone who was sick they should wait a couple days before visiting just in case they contracted the illness and weren’t showing symptoms yet. For more extended family I didn’t want to personally feel overwhelmed or invite too many germs around flu season (they were born in September) so they had to wait a couple months. I think whatever helps you feel the most at ease is what’s most important. Hormones will already be up and down after baby so people just need to respect whatever you want. And if they don’t respect your wishes then they definitely don’t need to be coming into your/baby’s space 😌

I just finished both parts of this video and I just wanna say it’s helped so much ! I just found out I’m pregnant with my first baby and this was so helpful.
With the snap up ones all you have to do is snap the first snap at the top then the snaps at the feet and then do the rest. Very rarely miss a button since I’ve started doing that

Stupid question but.. how would you know if your baby loves or hates a bottle?
Not stupid at all!!! Some bottles my babies just pushed out of their mouth no matter how many attempts I made or how hungry they were. Or they would dribble a lot even though it was the right flow for their age (nipples have different flows and you swap to faster flowing nipples as they get older) some bottles would make my kid’s swallow too much air so they would get gassy. The shape of the dr.browns bottles just ended up being easier to feed my babies. So if you’re struggling with bottle feeding a ton it’s worth testing other bottles

You set your address on your registry setup. When people buy things off yoir registry for you it will go to the address from your registry :)

Mai Zimmy so random, but the printer maintenance guy at my workplace had the name Wesley and every time I called to make an appointment with him I fell more in love with the name 😂 (way before I even thought about getting pregnant). It just stuck with me! I’ve never watched that movie but now I want too.
That’s amazing! Your name selection process sounds so similar to mine 😂 for one of my other sons we couldn’t think of a name and a nice old man sold us a refrigerator at Lowe’s and his name was Everett. When we left we both mentioned we thought his name was cool and now we got an Everett lol

Thanks for the help. First-time mom here and I am so overwhelmed by baby stuff. Do you know if Amazon still does the free welcome box? I have done everything I need to to "qualify" but it says it $35.. :-/
Ashlee Goyette for sure! I know it can be so overwhelming! They do the free baby box still. I had that same issue before and I actually called in. You have to make sure every box on the checklist is checked. Even if you didn’t specifically put something from that category in just check it yourself as complete. (A few boxes I thought I checked had become unchecked, so it was an easy fix), you also have to have at least a purchase of a certain amount too shipped. Hope that works!

I know Babylist let’s you register at multiple places. But I liked everything Amazon had to offer so I stuck with that and a little at Target

First time mommy here! These baby registry vids are so helpful! Thank you! For the basic clothing e.g bodysuits, sleepers...should I focus more on newborn sizing or shld I get something they will grow into?
Definitely minimize the amount of newborn size clothes. They grow out of them So fast! And some people like my best friend who has huge babies (9+ lbs at birth) they are born already too big for newborn size clothes 😅 maybe a few newborn size jammies and a cute going home outfit, but if you’re really on a budget getting size 0-3 months is fine. The first week or two it may seem like they’re swimming in the outfit, but they will grow into it before you know it!
I just found out I’m like around 4 weeks so I wrote everything down so im trying to stay positive.
