- Audio is owned by Virgin Records. 100th Window is the fourth studio album from the Bristol-based trip-hop group Massive Attack. Of the band's original core trio, the album only features Robert Del Naja. Andrew Vowles departed shortly after the release of Mezzanine, and Grant Marshall refused to participate in the making of the record.
Released in February 2003, 100th Window was written and produced by Del Naja and Neil Davidge, and features vocals from Horace Andy and Sinéad O'Connor, as well as an imperceptible appearance by Damon Albarn. It is the first album by the band that made no use of samples, and contains none of the jazz or jazz fusion stylings of the band's earlier recordings.

"Antistar"
Can you lick my wounds please
Can you make it numb
And kill the pain like cortizone
And grant me intimacy
How'll we split your chromosomes
Yeah more sweet narcosis
Yeah more sweet narcosis
(i'll turn a stone i'll find you)
Yeah more sweet narcosis
(i'll turn a stone i'll find you)
I turn a stone i'll find you there
Into reflected light i'll stare
You blind me with flash bulbs
And puzzle me with syllables
Back to sleep
Yeah more sweet narcosis
(i'll turn a stone i'll find you)
Yeah more sweet narcosis
(i'll turn a stone i'll find you)
Yeah more sweet narcosis
(i'll turn a stone i'll find you)
My heads between my knees again
Got needle set to zero
And you can shoot me hurricanes
Don't spare me the details
Yeah more sweet narcosis
(i'll turn a stone i'll find you)
Yeah more sweet narcosis
(i'll turn a stone i'll find you)
Yeah more sweet narcosis
More sweet
More sweet
Iconography fucks with me
You look great in bloodstains

This has to be my all time favorite from Massive Attack the crescendo and build up is so poetic and dark, really strikes a cord in the human spirit. It's almost like the whole song is about the turmoil of the human condition.
It is
Yes
This is mind blowing masterpiece hugely inspired by Indian raag Malahari… use of instruments and the crescendo buildup are again inspired by ancient Indian classical music! Massive attack is clearly an all time favorite with this number surely in their top three!! An unheralded genius work!!
4:20 The song reaches the level of genius from here to conclusion !
Absolutely agree
@@КонстантинКанвас Best of the best, genius 4 ever. I hope he could create something like that in the future. Don't think so, because he is getting old and I'm sure he don't do drugs so often anymore lol
Music is like that in middle east and in south & east Meditteranean territories.
What do you call this kind of music? I would love to find anything similar but doubt it’ll come anywhere close to this masterpiece
2003 тий год, а это до сих пор наикрутейшая вещь, подобно которой я не слышал 20 лет. Мэссивы окуенные!
It's THE fucking masterpiece. Best song of all time. Point fucking final.
Point fucking final. GREAT LOL
YES!
“Can you lick my wounds
Can you make it numb”
Great lyrics 🖤
Did you let them in?
They are Evil!
I agree
I Pray for a reunion 20 years later (for this album). Mezzanine was good, but this is the masterpiece.
Pray For Rain 😉
Futur Proof and Butturfly Caught are amazing too
I’d be there the fuck out of it
100th Window was an amazing album, as was Mezzanine.
Last few songs were trash so I pray they dont record anything ever again. Got their tslrnt washed away by spiraling into politics
This is like doing drugs... Without drugs
Perfect for driving the country roads at dusk in the convertible on a summer night
This is my sacred song.
Most underrated album of all time I absolutely love Mezzanine, but this album is a masterpiece and a mood. Darkest album they have, but also their most beautiful to me I have listened to it so many times. The string arrangements are divine and my personal favorite is the closer Antistar. I recommend everyone watch the live version the violin is so heavenly
the goosebumps...
this is so much underrated, to me one of the best albums massive ever did make, and i am not even a fan of sinead o connor, but with massive attack me loooveee
Exactly. Truly unappreciated by the mainstream press. But fuck them, am I right?
@@fuckweedMegafayce 🎯

Too cool. Far away from humanity : too cool (x2) 😍🎶😍
Hypnotisch ,düster. Auch die dunkle Seite der Kunst kann sehr schön sein! Lovely❤❤❤❤❤
Love it. Leave me where I walk.
good for a dark night

Amen!🙏🙏
An antistar is like a normal star, but composed entirely or antimatter.
This track crept into my head yesterday in the midst of strenuous activity, having forgotten what it was other than Massive Attack. I immediately thought this is what Dervish or Sufi music would sound like even though I know basically nothing about such music.
Sounds of the massive ......
The best song of MA
HOW FUCKING GOOD IS THAT! :O
This Album is a hallmark for Trip hop.It transcends you into a deep trance and melancholic feel.
definitely
the epitome of triphop. Also K&D and Tosca

🤩
Pillow talk
Just good is all.
#lovemassive #lovebanksy
Ca fait référence à l'héroïne, c'est bien ça ? Avec en prime des sonorités d'où pousse le pavot :D
Fastest 8 minutes of my life

Beautiful Artwork. MA at its best for sure. I Love this psychedelic Symphony!
de mis temas favoritos, sin lugar a duda, a partir del minuto 6:13 me vuelve loca, lo amo
😍😍😍😍😍
5:39 Top Gear's Bentley Continental Flying Spur review brought me here.
Never figured I would hear MA ushering the wankers' blubbering from Top Gear. What do you know...
Trip-hop is so underrated in here 😢the states.
That crescendo at the end is nothing short of positively chilling and epic. Nothing out there is like Massive Attack
