@@BlakeDrives Thanks for telling me! Great car you got man, Prius’ are awesome. Maybe it helps if I tell you that your videos appeared on my Recommended page before I started watching you so great job man
Ooof dropoff encore pickup bellagio, thats a doozy. I only like to drive between strip, downtown and the airport. Tourists tip better than locals and its much higher revenue per mile. Less spent on gas and less depreciation on car.
You have an entirely different experience than what I have in Ohio LOL!! I enjoy watching, or listening while I drive, to gig drivers in "destination" or tourist areas. Keep up the good stuff!
Thanks dude I appreciate the comment and the kind words. I drove in northwest Indiana off and on for two years, and then moved out here. It’s the wild wild west here lol 😂
@@BlakeDrives I assume the money is much better? I've also heard the cost of living in Vegas isn't horrible compared to say LA or other huge metro areas.
@@giff74 Yeah both are true. I live in California for 9 years so the rent/housing here is much more affordable. From my experience, you can make anywhere from $25+ an hour during the week and $30+ on the weekends with a normal car.
Yeah, my lady lives out in Vegas. She’s trying to get me to come out there but I don’t know I do LAX my last ride 26 minutes 25 miles $49 with an almost $14 tip. I think it was like 62 bucks but the airport was jampacked, how I see it minutes to miles to dollars it’s not triangle you Gotta make to make it worth it and don’t take rides in the bad areas. Dead zones cause out here in LA. A couple of drivers have been in bad areas and they didn’t make it home that night, good luck brother get the money maybe we could hook up and meet up next time I’m out there
Man that’s pretty good. So far, I haven’t seen a ride over $30. But I haven’t been driving very long. It’s cool here but you will definitely make less than California.
I live in vegas too driving lux and lux blk only You doing it wrong you on X and lyft you suppose to hang out at the strip or downtown and accept short ride only , the longer your trips the more money you lose especially your car Depreciate bc of mileage ,shirt ride my friend
Hey Blake I just found you watching another Uber youtuber. Great content keep it going. What kind of vehicle are you driving, I'm assuming a Prius from the inside but just wanted to confirm. And how do you like it for comfort for a whole shift. I drive a 2015 Ford C-Max hybrid and it's worked out good so far, but I do have my eyes on a Prius V.
I find it amazing that RUclips is recommending my videos lol 😂 Yeah I'm driving a 2017 Toyota Prius it's got like 38,000 miles on it now. It's comfortable enough I suppose, for being 6'2" and 240 lbs. I do need to get out and stretch my legs every couple of hours. I like the Ford C-Max's and Prius V's both are great cars.
Why would you not just do 10 short trips to hit that Uber bonus?? That’s how you maximize the bonus. You could have knocked that out in 2:30 hours, and only drove like 40 or 50 miles and hit the bonus?
That's probably a better strategy. I still don't know what I'm doing yet, just kind of easing into it I guess. Maybe I'll try your suggestion on the next one. 👍
Hey blake how do you get ur trip price to show when u get ur pop up trip request window? Because i'm only getting trip that show only how many minutes of its trip duration and how many miles when receiving the trip request in the app?
So the trip price will show up automatically as long as it’s available in your area/region. If it’s not showing up in your area, it may not be available yet. I did find this article on Lyft’s website for more information. www.lyft.com/blog/posts/upfront-pay-and-the-next-chapter-of-the-lyft-driving-experience What area are you in?
@@BlakeDrives thank you. I do my uber drives in Hawaii. Sometimes i pick up the same passengers from same locations with different minutes of trip duration. Not sure why that is, only Uber knows. what's the brand and model of your dash cam? And what camera are you moving around in your car, while you're driving? or is it a phone? I just subbed....
Blake, I started driving in Las Vegas this week. Getting better each day but I am wondering about the effect of my acceptance rate which is 64 % right now. How important is it in your opinion to accept most rides on the app?
Oh nice Kirsten! How do you like it so far? I’m very picky when it comes to rides so mine is really low and I haven’t found that it affects any of my rides.
So far I like it. I am still a bit nervous driving around the strip but it is getting easier by the day. I think I will also not accept the rides below $10 any longer if I will still keep getting requests. Thanks for your reply!@@BlakeDrives
Why are you more focused on $13 or more rides than looking at per mile? Shorter rides pay more per mile and longer rides pay less per mile ??? Longer rides you lose money both at pick up drop off and then on the way back it’s like giving riders free rides
Wow Las Vegas drivers still making a ton of money. LA market are dead way too many drivers. Over 400 drivers sit and waiting at airport in LA every day. No more good money in LA.
feels the same way for me , but i take the rides that are worth it ,and dont pick anyone up with a rating im not comfortable with! , but also its really hard to tell....is it bz? soo many variables...🤷🏼

I don’t think it matters anymore. Mine is really low, but it hasn’t affected any of my rides.

Alot better there than in miami where im at

im sure the driverless cars put a dent in your business.

No, it’s competition for the drivers.
