The amount of early game damage/kill potential that you lose in lane/while roaming by building Shurelyas first, should be a perma ban worthy offense... Enemy -> Teammate/Self -> Enemy is an optimal bounce structure in a multi-target environment for damage. You get 2 instances of damage, with the second being boosted twice by your ratio bonus! ...if you can chain properly. Then obviously the Teammate/Self -> Enemy bounce is better single target.

7 mastery nami here. all u have to remember is to "bounce your heals off the lowest priority target" during teamfights. that's usually u. 99% guarantee you'll get the highest value off of it.
also staff of flowing waters shouldn't be underestimated. 40 ap may not look like much but it goes to 70 and gives movespeed if u hit allies first
mastery 7 nami here aswell, honestly dont recommend sofw if youre playing mid or apc. if you want to run a "support item" just go redemption tbh

hey pekin, thanks a lot for giving ap nami some exposure. the truth is that building ap on nami has always been broken, but very few people actually abused it due to the stigma around carry supports. one little detail though, you can turn your wave into a teamfight nuke if you combo it with a redemption ontop of it. basically you aim your wave onto the desired location, instantly throw it AND then you insta aim your redemption on top of where the wave will land. your ult slows the enemies so they cant escape the redemption, and the redemption heals your teammates aswell. so you wont be getting complaints from your teammates about your build, most of the times you heal and buff so much they dont notice it until the game ends lmao.
In case no one explained it already the way her bounces work is like this: If your initial target is an ally (this includes you) you will bounce to an enemy and then another ally, if your initial target is an enemy then it bounces then to an ally and then another enemy.

This is basically old school support. Before they made support specific items and so supports had tons of AP and dealt dmg

@@alaron5698ap nami is a pretty decent support actually, you can deal top damage in your team and get away with it because you heal and buff so much your teammates wont notice

I'm old enough to remember when Nami had mage scaling. Same with Lulu. A lot of the old mages got nerfed into support roles because of their kiting, keep away playstyle. This was back when there were few gap closers or dashes.

for how much you throw basic attacks its almost worth to get lichbane, and the sheen early game would help with getting last hits when under tower.

hvent tested it but i dont think horizon works, like your w is a targeted ability no?
He doesn't go mandate cause he needs high AP to maximize the W bounce modifier.
Horizon does works with targeted abilities this season, i believe it even works on Karthus R!

if u want max dmg on a target, W another enemy near them, bounce to yourself them your desired target for max dmg potential, AP nami staple for a long time but far more important now

I think we’re trying too hard to force the self cast bounce, it’s not going to do as much to the first person but when you hit the 3rd they’re going to get nuked.

I like the buffs to her healing and damage with W, but it kind of makes her less Enchanter now that her E also got nerfed to compensate. I'd rather E stayed more powerful since Heals are always useful regardless. I have a feeling they'll nerf the AP/Base on W now too lol.
i love how theyre tiptoing so hard on nami yet things like rakan are allowed to exist, nami wasnt even broken to begin with. her peak wr was 52-53%, she was the strongest enchanter for 2 patches because the rest of the enchanters were weak as fuck. just revert all the nerfs and nerf her interactions with Lucian specifically😴

Is no one gonna mention the effecient way to poke 1v1? Your bounce has a slightly larger range than initial cast so self cast and get heal, ms, and poke damage

Lots of missed damage when you could have thrown abilities out and gotten multiple bounces but you’re usually too far and getting baited in to self bounce
I know im not masters but being a support main, 33 vision score at 21 minutes when the rest of your team is half that is really low.
16:40 the W bounces on shaco behind you, the big empower does not execute hwel sadly, took me .5 speed replay to notice shaco got the 3rd bounce there because he was trying to kill someone behind, so unlucky and so chaotic, really hard to notice what is what

I Miss the old Karma, her Fan gameplays was so good, healing allies and DMG enemies with her cone Area Fan attacks in melee and mid range was the best mid Champion and Jungle ASSIST ever created....sadly Riot destroyed the greatest champ and Made her a dumb mage

definitely the hardest thing about nami mid is csing after the e base damage nerfs it's so so much harder even when i tried triple tonic attack speed maybe next time ill try something goofy like presence of mind legend alacrity or smth because its just so so bad and doesnt get better (aside form one shotting casters with bubble later on)

you need to go back and reread the tool tips. or rewatch his other nami video where he explains it. (TLDR: base nerfed, but added scaling power making it weaker early stronger later)

been playing this game since season 2 and for the past decade it never changes you play something off meta everyone complains, you do good everyone complains , you do bad everyone blames your pic. some korean player does the same thing it becomes meta and then everyone thinks you are following the trend and the cycle repeats.
