- George Eleftheriades is a recognized international authority and pioneer in the new area of metamaterials: Man-made media with electromagnetic properties that transcend those in nature. In 2002 Dr. Eleftheriades introduced a method for synthesizing high-quality metamaterials using loaded transmission lines. Together with his graduate students, he provided the first experimental evidence of imaging beyond the diffraction limit with a negative-index lens and pioneered several novel microwave and optical devices. These include a recent demonstration of the first experimental thin active cloak.

@@jimbo987 I'm wondering how people will prove they are being attacked anyways? What method of defense do to get have if people wanted to use EMF against them? I'm curious and definitely agree that immediate awareness and control of these technologies be given to see pecial bodies that work only to stop the misuse and have some ultimate authority to investigate and prosecute through some checks/balance system. I am now intimately the cruelty involved in the negative use and use that to imagine how much good could become of it, but it's ok be ring to rule them all I bet.

Just about any introductory text on Electrodynamics or EM Theory can get you the answers you seek. Griffith's Introduction to Electrodynamics is a good start. Balanis' Advanced EM has a pretty good treatment for the conservation of energy section.
But a basic answer to your question would be the higher permittivity in glass causes the electric field to "slow down" and that difference in energy is stored in the glass (some dissipated as heat) and then when leaving the glass the remaining energy is transferred back.

I am a victim of DEW... 3-14-2020 I was suffering tremendously. The tormenting was immense. I feel texts and emails etc flying through the air. My bible calls these fiery arrows and the itches are the darts... the transmissions that bounce off of my bones.
