@@NPCHSN They never pled guilty, look up the alford plea. It has been entered pleading innocence but with recognition that if they were taken to trial again they would be found guilty. They had been in prison for over 2 decades or something so the presumption is that that outcome is likely to happen again based on the fact it had happened before. It stops an innocent party being able to sue the state for wrongful damages of being innocent and put in jail for 20 years and assures that an innocent party can leave prison without another 20 years of seeking exhonoration. Also allows for the people who made their careers off the case to carry on doing so. Jason baldwin didnt want to take the plea, he has dreams of being a lawyer but can never practice with a criminal conviction. You clearly dont know how difficult it is for innocent people to actually over turn a conviction or the real likelyhood of release. Its the mis interpretation of the alford plea that unfortunately still has people brand them child killers. Have a good day.
