Do not be fooled with these LPs. First of all these LPs are digital prints so they will never be equal to the digital files they copied from and they would not have the analog quality of the original master. Secondly, If you want to get great quality with LPs you need a very good player, stylus, a good phono pre amp, amps and so on. Even then a good Flac will outperform all of it. I like LPs, but its mostly for nostalgia and for only high end audiophile devices to get good quality. I am an audio enthusiast and have nearly $15K (10 Lacs INR) devices. Not sure why people in Kerala are attracted to LP and vintage audio this much. They are good for beauty, nostalgia etc but like most machinery they don't have latest quality or HiFi (24 bit or higher) for most ordinary people.

The record is not OST and for the most part it sounded like pressed from an MP3 file. This farce completely beats the essence of buying records for the love of analog music. Having said that, even abbey road studios are pressing bestles and pink Floyd re issues from high quality digital masters copied from 15ips master tapes. These master tapes are highly preserved and they don't want to play it many times for reproduction. New records are undoubtedly pressed from digital masters. The limitations of vinyl still gives a very pleasing vocals and highs compared to the loud and clinical CDs . For me, I collect records mainly for nostalgia and the love of the less harsh vinyl mastering ( exclude those new Hindi vinyl from this)
