Man I think its so weird that Comp L4D2 only allows the tier one weapons but some Comp rules allow the Scout sniper rifle or the Deagle. In comp L4D2 the silenced SMG becomes your best friend. I kinda wish they allowed Tier 2 weps but then they would need to nerf the Ak47 for being the most OP gun in the game. Wish there were more attention given to L4D2 comps it can easily be a great esport game.
I know this is late, but it's because the Survivors are actually OP already with T1 weapons. Once you give them most T2, it's almost impossible for the infected to even get close to winning (unless the survivors lack competence or organization). T1 are balanced in the fact they have low damage and such, because the pros are almost never going to miss a shot, so something like the hunting rifle or AK become extra deadly in their hands, tanks disappear in seconds... imagine everyone knowing the next good spawn point and ready to click once each to delete an infected like the charger...

graphically i keep everything but effects on low game might look different/brighter cause OBS i use filters to make it look a lil better for viewer
