Abbas Abad is one of the neighborhoods of Tehran city, the major part of which is located in district 7 of Tehran municipality and a small part of it is located in district 6 of Tehran city. This neighborhood is actually a part of the large land of Abbas Abad.
The name of the main street of this neighborhood is Abbas Abad Street, which was changed to Shahid Beheshti Street after July 7, 1360. Among the important streets of this neighborhood, we can mention Suhravardi, Apadana, Nilofer, Nobakht, Mahnaz, Andisheh, Sorena, Mir Emad and Parsa. This neighborhood leads from the east to Shariati street, from the north to Dariush Bozor highway and Abbas Abad lands, from the west to Valiasr street and Yusuf Abad neighborhood, and from the south to Motahari street (Taht Tavus).
The buildings of the National Library of Iran, Central Bank Museum, Ports and Maritime Organization, Ministry of Roads and Transport, Tehran Governorate, Colleges Complex, Tehran Mosque, Nowruz Park, Water and Fire Park, Taleghani Park (Children's World Park) and the Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense Museum of Books and Documentary Heritage of Iran, Book Bag, Allameh Faculty of Economics are the most important buildings that stand out in this area.
