There’s a veterinary assistant from the Netherlands trying to bring the breed back to a healthy standard and it’s amazing to see the difference between their french bulldogs and what is the “norm” now.
We rescued a dog after he was abandoned after living with the original owners for a year and a half from being born. They hand fed him food. So when we brought him home we were absolutely confused as to why he was not eating in the slightest. To this day, he has probably 1 hand fed meal a week cos we are still weaning him off from that. It was tough and a lot of hard work needed to break basic training instilled by the old owners. But he seems a lot happier gulping his own food himself rather than being reliant now

It is incredible to see how Victoria managed to teach Molly to eat from a plate and even dog food. I am trying to apply this technique to our Jack Russell Terrier (Sunny). He eats from his bowl but only human food. If he detects the dog food mixed whit the human food (chicken or beef) he would not eat all of it. In the best case scenario he will eat all around the dog food. So we buy dog food and eventually we throw it away as it can not stay open for a long time. Has anyone got any tips?

Start with "barf" it's raw meat and Not dry dogfood. And i think if you don't give him anything else then dogfood he will eat it at some point. He will not let himself starve - be sure of that.
If they want to continue making homemade food for molly, they can make a large batch for a week and put them in the freezer. Take them out a few hours before meal times to let it thaw and microwave it to get it warm and tasty. We feed our dog raw food (bought), and we just let it out an hour before her mealtimes to let it thaw, and when she gets bored of eating raw I microwave it for a minute to get it smelling nice and have some of the meat to be cooked.
Did you cook it? If you didn’t you have a large problem, your dog could get sick because of parasites in the meat, because its uncooked it stays alive cooking it kills the parasites.
@@guard1anz we don’t, we feed raw. We buy batches ready, and they’re prepared safely. We haven’t had any reactions that may show any sickness, so we’re going strong lol
