@@mahammad Okay I see Improvement... Thanks for clarifying that... But Video Samples still have poor exposure control... But glad to see that lowlight sample, it turned out pretty good, the colors. But I cudnt help but notice, Most the shots are 6MP and 9MP samples. Does HDR mode force lower pixel count. And Night Shots are just 9MP.
The HDR option doesn't change the megapixel option. It still stays at 9mp mode which is what I chose, the other option is 6mp mode. Night mode also stays at 9mp mode. Ultrawide camera photos however forces 6mp photos to come out, you can tell which pics are ultrawide by the focal length and the distorted/stretched top left right, bottom left right 4 corners.
Interesting that. Ultrawide in particular needs more resolution to compensate for detail compression... Plus the Dynamic Range on the Ultrawides that come with these 8MP sensors are bad . And the Selfie Camera is a fixed focus unit I hear. Thats really sad. A 32MP sensor with fixed focus wasnt really a good idea... Too much details will be lost bcz of that.. But overall a decent package, not a camera centric phone, but the overall value density is quite appealing.
But .. Edge Lite is only 185grs way down from the 220gr monsters, and bit smaller too. Seems that Moto found it's way back. Just a bit smaller, away with that too narrow 20:9 ratio (try reading maps with a bar above and another below.. I can watch movies in wider screens. Maps, or decent editing horizontal in 20:9, no way !!
Thx for good informative review👍 I'm a Motorola fan. Everything was great on 20 Lite except for the video quality. Why was it so bad? Was EIS not working at all? Terrible video quality actually. I tried video outdoors today with my much cheaper Nokia 6.2 (2019) and I took video with 1080p 30fps and it was so much better, buttery smooth capture and beautiful vibrant colours with EIS stabilization. Maybe 20 Lite EIS also work only with 30 fps?

Oooo the Dynamic Range is Effffy.. I wish Moto had put in the effort of image post processing. Samsung HM2 has proven its prowess, but OEMs have to work a lot to bring out the best in them. Xiaomi did an Amazing job with the Redmi Note 10 Pro. I wish a lot of other budget manufacturers who use these high end sensors implement similar if not better processing.
Thanks! I'd recommend the Edge 20 Lite any day. It's released more recently with Android 11, it has overall better specs in terms of the display, charging speed etc except maybe the processor. It's a bit more pricey but I'd say get this one
Hi I know this reply is late.. I got this phone about 2 weeks ago and I was able to insert two nano SIM's and it works fine. If I recall correctly - I believe the two SIM's insert in different directions. If you use the SD card, you can only use one SIM card. Hope that helps?
Thank you! No, the display doesn’t flicker or doesn’t have any issues. It sometimes flickers like that in my video because of the way my camera records 😅
It's tough, the Honor 50 has 120hz and Edge 20 Lite has 90hz. The Honor 50 has a much better processor. The Honor 50 has faster charging but Edge 20 Lite has bigger battery. It's up to you.

It appears in the settings app as a system application but not in the app list. I assume it automatically activates when you insert into the dock into a monitor.
Good question! The zig zag lines are often found near traffic light crossings. The zig zags indicate no one can overtake or park their car in this area for pedestrian crossing visibility and safety. You'll often find it ~25 feet before and after a crossing.
From this review, the photo and video quality from that phone is really really disappointingly crap. I thought being Motorola the quality would be decent :(
