  • In a rapidly changing world, how should the church respond? Should the church remain as it has historically been? Or should the church seek to change? If so, how?

How can the Church survive? In a age of much turmoil and uncertainty where fear and doubt is running rampant, now is the time for us to show the Christ like character that we’ve been learning about now is the time to put our knowledge into action to love one another help those in need be that light in the darkness now is not the time to be sitting and waiting for someone else to do it, those days are over, if you want someone to do something be that someone be a doer of God’s will it’s easy when things are good but now is in these times are when people are looking for that character of Jesus in all of us put others before yourselves just as Jesus himself did for us, may the Holy Spirit guide you as you step up and take your first steps in overcoming your own fears and doubts

It depends on is meant by "adapting" because it adapting means compromising the foundational truths of the gospel of repentance and God's forgiveness for the sake of catering to the culture, then I don't know if that's what Paul meant in 1 Corinthians. The Bible often speaks of a "remnant" who remains true to God's teachings despite the cultural changes that were happening in their time. As believers we need to be careful with mixing holy with the profane, to become hot or cold rather than be "lukewarm" for the sake of "adapting".
May God give each of us wisdom on knowing the difference between adapting and watering down solid foundational bBblical truths for the sake of conforming.
