DJI Mavic 3 Classic, Waypoints first test

This was my first attempt at using the DJI Mavic 3 Classic's, Waypoint mode.
You can set each waypoint and select what you want the camera to do via an "easy to use" mode setup, that is quite intuitive to use.
This can be done at the location you're at, OR, at home, before you leave via the map in the DJI Fly App.
All you need is an internet connection to the controller either through your home network, or hot spotting your phone to your controller if you're using the RC controller that comes with the Mavic 3 Classic drone.
This one was done on location, very easily. And you can have it up and running within a few minutes.
The footage comes out very smooth, and the drone does everything for you, making it quick and easy to get smooth looking footage. All you need to do once you've set the waypoints, is hit "GO", and the drone will automatically fly the route, switching on the record function, if that's what you have set, switching off the recording, then returning to your home point once it's finished the flight.
There are several different things you can do with this mode, but I was mainly interested in recording the video of the flight to see how it transitioned between waypoints. Quite impressed would be a good way to describe it.

Hi Robo, definitely a great asset for the Mavic 3 line. I have to say I was pretty impressed by how smooth the drone flies the waypoint route. How it can smooth out the path to give a curve between waypoints is very nice 🙂

Yeah mate, this automated mode is pretty cool. Fly the path first up to set the points and angles of the camera, or programming it at home, it is truly amazing technology.
