  • Cho Chau Doc, the Vietnamese market, feels like a traditional Korean market. However, it offers special items; a bucketful of snake and rat meat. Away from the market, there are cages full of rats, and the village people butcher rats to sell them at the market. Rat meat is considered a health food of the Mekong Delta. I decided to try catching rats with the village people after the harvest season. We're ready as long as we have a shovel and a rat cage. Rats are coming out of the hole dug in the rice paddy. The caught rats are either cooked or sold at the market for extra income. I wonder how the rat dish taste. #Rat #RatHunting #RatDish
