2:50 so a quick correction here: you actually have to find a passive enemy on the other path through Undead Settlement to make your way to join the Mound Maker's covenant. The NPC who gives access to the Mound Makers covenant, Holy Knight Hodrick, will be found dead on the ground if you beat the Curse Rotted Greatwood and will not give you the covenant item
I can't believe this video only has 6.5k views. This deserves way more, dude! Awesome work, hilarious jokes, pretty much nothing to complain about. Insta-subbed, gonna go watch the others now!
very cool - that's crazy to me honestly! i make these mostly to understand the big picture of the games, i wouldn't think they are detailed enough to help actually playing them
@ well I watch them all for that as well but DS2 was the last souls game i played and i didn’t even know what to do in no mans wharf, let alone the rest of the map and backtracking later on. amazing vids and I love the drawings
@@VGCartography We really need a SotE one. It just looks like one blob of landmass but it's a huge lie and seems to be more like a ball of spaghetti once all the sheer cliffs are considered. I think it's the one where a map that actually works would be of most benefit since the in-game map can't properly handle SotE's map design.
Even though this game doesn't have all the inter-area shortcuts, the location of the swamp is just as mindbending as DS1. Maybe even moreso. I think it's because you get the "warp" off of the highwall so you don't properly feel the weight of where it sends you. Still, just getting pretty far into Road of Sacrifices/ Farron and thinking... hey... uhh... we're just back where we started. heh.
yeah... as long as you can hop from bonfire to bonfire it misses a lil of that feeling of getting lost way out in some outpost, but i agree that this one had some nice moments like that. they are more conservative with the number of bonfires vs 2 but better about connecting back to them repeatedly (cathedral, archives etc)
Thank you so much for this map! Your videos are always perfect to watch right after I beat one of these games, to help me let them go and jump on the next one.
The amount of hard work on this video is amazing. I'm a Level Designer and I've loved seen my favorite levels and how they connect to other sections. I hope Sekiro is on your radar too. :)
This is awesome work about a great idea. Even with DS1, i found it challenging to mentally map the world and visualise where I was at in relation to other areas. As such, this video aided me immensely! Cheers and subbed
I definitely appreciate this map/guide. I've never been able to make heads or tails of the Dark Souls 3 map even though the first two games were very doable for me to traverse.
yes my master, thanks for another masterpiece... just for you to know, i have DS2 map printed as a huge wall poster, it is that good. keep up the good work, master
I was just rewatching the DS1 and DS2 map walkthroughs, I always appreciate the attention to detail in these vids!
"creepy giants graveyard but some are still alive yard" "cruel angel prosthesis" I probably missed more, but that was fun
one slight smirk makes it worth it
“Wilhelm scream”
Been waiting for so long for a dark souls 3 version of these vids 🔥
i took a couple breaks making this one so i didnt go too crazy

You may also be able to get it through Sirius's questline I believe
