Great message today Bill my father always told me that it's not a shame being poor but its unhandy sometimes. We must lay up our treasures in heaven and not here on earth.

I had religion forced on me at an early age. I resent it for a long time. I'm still not a fan of organized religion, but I believe in God and heaven. And I'm glad I came across your channel for Tractor Church.

Hang in there! Jesus was not a fan of organized religion either, they were who killed him. I'm glad you found my channel too.😃

I had Christian family raising, My dad was song leader from 18 till the church decided they needed a college man for that,a deacon ,building & grounds which at the end they cast him from as his health was poor. So I have trouble with religion myself, I love God believe in Jesus as my savior and have been blessed with fix things ability like you but pain from an accident has changed much of my life and what I can do now and it tolls heavy on me. Life is a short race that changes as we age. I loved today's words of wisdom. Thank you.

Thanks for the message today on tractor church! I can relate to much of what you said pertaining to religion. Religion will kill you, being a follower of Jesus will transform your life! Thank God we experienced that transformation! Keep preaching truth Bill, truth sets us free!

I enjoy your unencombered views on leading a simple life. We used to have a visiting priest from Ireland who came every year while our pastor was away. One thing he highlighted was people having "too much stuff" referring to a luxurious lifestyle vs those that lived a simple God-Fearing charitable life devoid of unnecessary luxuries.

Thanks for the timely message today Bill. Our nation puts so much emphasis on material wealth as a status of people. We are inclined to use that standard also. Bible reminds us that our earthly things will perish someday and we can't take it with us. We would do well to seek the things of God instead of the earthly things that soon will pass away. Thanks for the message!

I have never seen a UHaul behind a Hearse. I could have chosen a different path, but I followed my heart and stayed with farming. My own operation didn't work out, but I have a good job working for someone else. I have a wonderful wife now, and a bunch of fine young people who call me Dad. My 75 year old house and the acreage I own is all paid for, and I might not be happy ALL the time, but I am content. I believe in Jesus as my Savior, and God as my Father. We may not be able to get a camel through the eye of the needle, but I bet we could squeeze a tractor through! ( Referral to a narrow mountain pass, that only donkeys could navigate)👍👍

Excellent message there sir, wealth has a different definition to different people. But I know for sure that no matter how much money a fella has or how big of a house etc, if you don’t have a relationship with God none of the other stuff matters

Thanks!! Very relatable!! I see people all the time, that love n cherish their life, family n friends, that struggle with their budget…. But not that you’d ever know. Then I’ve seen many without a care in the world about money because they’re set pretty good, and yet even with family and acquaintances, they’re never really happy and seem alone. If they’d only recognize their talents or GOD given gifts, there lives would be so much more fulfilling and meaningful. Don’t worry about how ya fry the bacon…..it’s BACON!! 😂

I understand what you're saying. You're just trying to put to good use, the time that you have left. I know that God's Word says it, but I never understood His teaching about rewards and/or responsibilities in Heaven. I think that being in His presence for eternity is all the reward that a person could want. I'm sure that I just don't understand. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and don't quit.

I agree with the first verse. Even though you look poor, your riches lie within your talent and your friends.
You can put a rich person and a poor person in the grave one can't take his " earthly riches with them, the other can. Memories last a life time.

I'm one of the people who skips past the tractor church videos. Religion left a bad taste in my mouth. That being said, I really relate to your message. I've squandered some of my talents as a younger man, never been rich but I'm rich in life. 5th generation farmer. No kids never married. I was a highway designer for 15 years and couldn't find any satisfaction in it. I've always played music and set my sights on playing professionally. After 1100 gigs in 6 years, I was finally getting somewhere then COVID hit... Thankfully my Dad taught me how to work. I now work in the marijuana industry in Michigan and it kinda sucks too. 🤷. What I'm getting at, is your message has inspired me to play more. Use my talents before I lose the ability to use them. Thank you. I'll keep watching the tractor church videos from now on. I still love the old tractors though!! 👍

Hey Jeremy! So glad you wrote, and that you plan to keep watching! It's guys like you that I'm trying to get to realize that God doesn't like religion either, he just wants a relationship with you, and would love for you to accept his gift of forgiveness and salvation through Jesus' sacrifice. Religious rituals are meaningless, empty ways that people try to earn their way into heaven or at least earn "brownie points" with God. I hope you have great success with your music!🤠

Yes brother. I know what you're talking about. I got 12, 15 passenger vans and a couple of buses. I do transportation for the Amish people in a couple of different states and the rules regulation insurance is driving me nuts. I don't know how much longer I can do it. My expenses have more than doubled in the last 3 and 1/2 years. Say a prayer for me and I'm trying to farm in the meantime

Yes sir the older I get the more I realize it's not what we lay up on earth for our children and grandchildren to fight over. It's what we got in heaven. That's what counts. Some mornings I wake up. Got a pileds of insurance papers to fill out and then I just think I wish I'd have never woke up. I don't know if anybody else has days like that or not but I do
