    Good luck on your (GCSEs?, A levels? I know my GCSEs start on the 16th so I assume you have GCSEs). This was perfect motivation to stop doing the revision was doing and hop back on an old project similar to this

    If you are not using node_modules try neutralino instead of electron it just doesn't eat all of your ram away and is slightly faster.

    You really need Temporal. It's an API on standards track and it also has an NPM package.
    Also Typescript, but that's a bit more subjective.

    tip next time you need electron: make a normal web app then use capacitor to turn it in to an electron/mobile app

    Why electron? You could have made the whole thing in a web app and just stored user data in permanent cookies. You can still optionally upload files and save them if you care too.

    Just last week I had to practice trigonometric functions(sin, cos, tan) for an exam. Instead I spent 4 hours creating a website that generate me a random question. It actually somehow turned really nice at the end

      @@lordpengz16 Javascript, arrays, and randomizers to pick from those arrays
      There was no need to store an answer as this is just simple mathematics so I just did the calculations for each new question

    pro tip instead of fucking with javascript dates just do Date.now / 1000, and use the unix time its easy af, wait 60 seconds? time + 60; if nowtime < nexttime return;
