Do it! I stated mines just before I turned 50, I’d admired locs for years love the look micro small locs I like the slightly thicker look they give. I had 1st set 6 months then restarted making them smaller I now have 185ish locs they almost 16mths it’s not easy but you learn so much loccing your hair & I honestly wish I’d done them sooner. Good luck with your journey when you start ☺️🇬🇧

After about 2 months, maybe a lil less or a lil more, I have decided to redo my starter locs. I started n then wanted to get it done professionally so I took them out. BIG MISTAKE, my time was waisted I didn't get it done, I came home and did more research n I found u, since then i've been coming back to your channels looking at your growth, your locs growth, went deep diving for all your locs content and I finally decided to do over, i starting on Friday, I finished yesterday and I counted then today. 295 locs. I can't wait for them to grow out n loc up. My main issue now is dry scalp, i'v almost done everything can do, i don't know what else to do. I was watching NAPSARETHENEWBLACK before I found your channel, beautiful young lady such peaceful soul, her locs was my goal locs, n then i found u n yours were my goal locs. I've come to understand that it doesn't matter what I do it's not going to look exactly like yours or hers, so I'm just gonna let my hair do it's thing. I trust it now to do what it wants. Both you and NATNB inspire me, your loc journeys are just...waw. Thank you for what both of you are doing to contributing to the locs community, It's really inspiring to young girls like myself. We appreciate both of you so much. I doubt you'll see this, but i'd just like to leave this here.
Ur locs look beautiful. I am one month in. Split a couple of locs at the back since when i started the hair had been blow dried a bit too much. Yet to count my locs. Will do so during the week. Hehe

They look so good I have 350 locs and I can't wait til they grow out I had 63 at first but I quickly got tired of them and wanted more I'm so excited to have microlocs
How did you go about this process?
@@cyndeepokorny3413 I just combed and picked my first set of locs out I had at first and then I installed the microlocs in.
I've been debating getting locs and I'm still not sure which ones to get, sister locs or the regular ones...does it really make a difference in the part pattern?

I think I want locs. My texture is similar to yours and i want micro ones too. I just want to be able to switch it up and wear wigs too
I only have 192 and they looked small enough but I love the look of microlocs that are 250+. I think I'll split mine again 😮💨😮💨😮💨
I just did mine & have the same amount. I honestly think everyone has a significantly larger head than me🤣 cause min full. I may split a few.
I only have 205 and they look really full. I was told I do not have a big head with medium density hair. Ugggh I don’t know

I want locs but I have fine 4C hair and it just won't look as full as yours
I think you meant to say that you have low density hair so it won’t look as full. Your curl type wouldn’t make your locs look less full.
Look up TheRealKylaB - she has thin hair (low density) but her hair has fluffed out nicely as they developed into locs. You can't compare yourself to someone with different hair type/density. There are other thin density ladies with locs you can follow and get better idea of how yours will flourish.
