Hi team! 💜 Sorry that this one was up a bit later than usual, but I hope you enjoy it all the same! 🥳 Which layout do you think would be the most useful?
Lord, if I didn’t realize I was a humanities major, I definitely know now. When you said characters page, my mind went to characters in a novel, and definitely had those for my required reading
My recommendation for starting a new school year is don't burden ur journal with 1000s of spreads... The essential spreads for student bullet journal are; Yearly overview Course plan Monthly planners Assignment tracker Grade tracker (Optional) Sleep tracker (Optinal) Weekly Planner Daily Planner (optional)
That course overview page would have absolutely saved my 1st year in uni. To put into perspective, the calculation I did for every class was "how much do I need to get in the final to pass", forget what I needed for As. It was rough and lessons were learned the hard way. I love the colors you used for these spreads! And the washi was a great touch.
So many great ideas!! I especially love the study and assignment planners. I'm not a student (and haven't been for a while) but I DO plan on taking some certification courses in the next few years, and will definitely get some inspiration from this video!
Many of these layouts are also great for parents of school-age children! I’ll be using some of your ideas to track my kids’ schedules, costs (for clubs, sports, music lessons, etc.), contact info for all of the above, general progress (the then & now page), and maybe more. 😊 Great ideas as usual, Jess! ❤
Out of all the videos on this subject (and there are A LOT of them), this is the most helpful one I've seen. These spreads are all both gorgeous and useful, so thank you!
Just starting to set up my 2023 study journal, I'm going to have 4 months free over the summer, so I'm planning a "things I want to study" spread because if I don't keep to some kind of routine it'll take me weeks to get back into it
As a University student I think I should start doing my assignment spread from now on I usually use a habit tracker and daily log in bujo and do my study log in another diary I can use a lot of ideas here thanks ❤
I love your channel... Found it a few days ago but your way of speaking is so clear that I watched a lot of them... And as a high school student, I find tracking my grades really important
Hi Jashii, this is super detailed and helpful! I wonder if you can do one that’s more geared towards a homeschool mom who’s helping plan out high school for a student and wants to have a journal like this to present to her student at the end of high school. Sort of like a memory keeper and grade tracker and book log thats also meaningful as a keepsake. This is so close to what I’m thinking already but still feel like there’s ways to hear it more toward homeschool. Thank you for all your help and the wonderful detailed videos you share.
I use a modified calindex to keep track of what assignments are due when. Especially with heavy course loads, those spreads (one for each month of the term) are absolute grade savers!! Without it many assignments would accidentally fall through the cracks, and there’s no sense in scoring a zero unnecessarily.
Thanks for this video. I'm about to start the next year of my Psychology degree (3 of 6 as I'm part time) along side working and having two children. I don't think I dare fill in the weekly timetable, but I'm definitely going to do a page for the start and end of the year so I can look back at what I am now more confident about 💜 x
These ideas are really good. When I was in school (in person and online for high school/college) I just carried some loose paper and a couple black ink pens for notes. This would have been a great system, I'm just low key (I wasn't in my planner phase yet). I mostly spent time at the library (I know some of these things would make what books I'm reading easier to log).
I’m in college and a future log is really helpful for planning out long term stuff especially since I’m in the board of a club. Other than that weekly’s are king for me rn to take it one week at a time
Wow, this was beautiful. This gave me inspiration for how to layout some of my bullet journal pages for planning out my goals. Thank you for such as informative video!
Omg love love love this. Just off to make my son watch this as he is off to uni on Saturday! I know he will need loads of these ideas to help him, maybe not with the washi tape🤣 Thanks Jess.
The study and assignment planners would be helpful for much more than just school for me. I'm a homeschool mom, author, and always learning new things myself. So many uses that I can see for these, including my self paced gaelic course I'm taking since I've been lax with it
Yo Jess, this video is soooo goooood!! Love every single one of these spreads, and definitely going to use them next year if I get into the course I want! I think I'd find the study checklist and assignment planner the most useful! Great video, the amount of effort that went into this one especially is awe inspiring!
I love this! A lot of these pages would have been helpful when I was in college. Haha. Right now, I'm self-studying a language. Do you have any recommendations of page set-ups for planning/tracking language learning?
I already use an iteration of some of these layouts, and you posting about them validates my using it somehow 😂 thanks so much!! I will see if I can incorporate the others, or a version of them. You're awesome! By the way, may I have the link to what you used for the year at a glance? Thanks!
Sure! Those are 2021-2022 mini calendars that I made for the video about future logs 😄 the printables can be found at: www.patreon.com/posts/future-log-2021-51557668
Is there a teacher/ uni lecturer version of this video? I’m a lecturer and some of the spreads will be really useful but would be great to see teacher specific spreads as well 😊
Any type of time management spread or project planning would have been useful, but given the type of student I was, I’m not sure it would have gotten used. 😆I’m learning! I’m learning. 😅
@@JashiiCorrin i have a gridded notebook and im going to start my first ever bullet journal. i wonder how that will turn out. saw that yours was dotted

Well if you’re doing an 18 month course, it makes sense 😛 though I did mean to write trimester.
