As a SOAD connoisseur myself i like to give you some recommendations. SOAD started really aggressive with their first album and polished in the laster albums, so dont be suprised if they sound MUCH harder on the older songs. Its like Slipknot, TOOL or Opeth they got a bit tamer with time. New SOAD Listeners i recommend starters like: Spiders, Hypnotize, Lonely Day, Psycho Later i can recommend you: Sugar, Prison Song, Mr. Jack, I-E-A-I-A-I-O, Holy Mountains, Violent Pornography Also i recommend you Serj Tankians solo projects. He approched more classical elements combined with heavy music to create new and awesome tracks. His first solo album "Elect the dead" is one of my alltime favorites. Songs like "Empty walls", "Sky is over", "Unthinking Majority", "Honking Antelope", "Lie Lie Lie" and also "Harakiri" are amasing songs. Have fun on your ride
The unreleased and DEMO stuff by SOAD is HEAVY as all HELL... I love P.I.G., love that eerie, creepy, dark, heavy, rhythmic and beautiful style from their former selves. 🖤
system of a down is one of the best bands to ever exist. insane instrumentals all around, guitar bass drums, and vocals are next level. between serj and daron, their voices mix and harmonize so damn well. I recommend BYOB or prison song, but they really don't have a bad track. also it's sad that many of their lyrics are still super relevant. they touch on many heavy issues and these songs were made decades ago. hope to see more soad on your channel soon!

I will suggest again if you love the vocals of this band to check out their song called "Lost In Hollywood", but in this case the lead singer is the lead guitarist and Serge does the backup vocals and I don't know if there's an official video for this song, you'll have to search for it if there is.
"Prison Song" is such a great song and very underrated. There are hundreds of reactions of Toxicity, Aerials, BYOB and Chop Suey, but I've seen only one to Prison Song, so I'd recommend that.
I've always thought this song especially demonstrates the influence of the Armenian Orthodox Church on their music, and the kind of chanting and singing of Orthodox priests and monks. Armenian names are easy to spot, because they almost always end in "-ian".

Are you listening to this with in-ear monitors? Call me crazy, but based on the way they're sticking out of your ears it looks like maybe you've got them on backwards (usually IEMs are made to sit pretty flush inside your ears). I could be completely wrong, that was just my first impression.
You should listen to lonely day, the vocals are flipped normally serj is the main singer with daron on backup but lonely day is 80% daron with serj doing some background
