@Lur Zagrosneshin The only reason I am semi-aware of Zurvanism, the inscription I typed out, and the Kalmakara Cave (a very important site for Mithraism in the Zagros mountains) is because the sword I bought that I commented here about is from that cave.. I have a question about Lorestani culture, and specifically Lorestani women. My great grandmother was from Borujerd, Lorestan. She had tattoos on her face, specifically the mouth area, the tattoos were dot like and blue green colored. I haven't been able to find much about anyone knowing tattoos among the Lors. I don't think it's common among men. but they tattoo it next to their eye. as for cheshm zakhm it's like a curse from someone jealous of you. it's more complicated than that but that's how much I can explain.@@ladyterrapin1421

I am Lak, and I've studied a lot of Lak history. We are not Lur. If anything.... Lurs are Lak. Laks are historically older than Lurs. We are the origins of the Kurdish diaspora. In fact, all of Kermanshah was once Lakestan. The Lurs of Bakhtiyari and Kuychek are a mix of Laks with a different ethnic group. Laks are genetically closer to all the other Kurdish groups than to any Bakhtiyari Lur or Kuychek Lur. I can send you this article if you wish to see it, it was published out of Lorestan University.

Kurds are four groups in Sharafnamah : Kurmanj, Goran, Kelhur, Lur. Before 9-10 centuries ago two new Kurdish dialects were created : Sorani and Laki. Sorani is combination between Gorani and Kurmanji. Laki is also a combination between Kalhuri and Gorani. Sorani, Kelhuri, and Laki are almost the same. True there are differences between (Sorani, Laki, Kelhuri) and other Luri dialects (Mamasani, Boyer Ahmad), but it doesn't mean you are not Kurdish

Lorestan is home to the Lurs. Many kurds in the comment section are trying to claim that the people in Lorestan are mainly Kurds. (I even saw they were claming that the Zands were Kurds.) But dont get this wrong that the people in Lorestan are mainly Lurs Because as some comments pointed it out, they hace Laks and Kurds among them. I have a question about Lorestani culture, and specifically Lorestani women.
My great grandmother was from Borujerd, Lorestan. She had tattoos on her face, specifically the mouth area, the tattoos were dot like and blue green colored. I haven't been able to find much about anyone knowing tattoos among the Lors. Does anyone have knowledge about this and why the women would get tattoos on their faces?

I am Lak, and I've studied a lot of Lak history. We are not Lur. If anything.... Lurs are Lak. Laks are historically older than Lurs. We are the origins of the Kurdish diaspora. In fact, all of Kermanshah was once Lakestan. The Lurs of Bakhtiyari and Kuychek are a mix of Laks with a different ethnic group. Laks are genetically closer to all the other Kurdish groups than to any Bakhtiyari Lur or Kuychek Lur. I can send you this article if you wish to see it, it was published out of Lorestan University.

Real Lurs are from Boyer Ahmad, Mamasani (southern lurs). I'm from Mamasani myself originally. Laki is a Kurdish, not Luri
Kurds are four groups in Sharafnamah : Kurmanj, Goran, Kelhur, Lur.
Before 9-10 centuries ago two new Kurdish dialects were created : Sorani and Laki.
Sorani is combination between Gorani and Kurmanji.
Laki is also a combination between Kalhuri and Gorani.
Sorani, Kelhuri, and Laki are almost the same. True there are differences between (Sorani, Laki, Kelhuri) and other Luri dialects (Mamasani, Boyer Ahmad), but it doesn't mean you are not Kurdish
