Awe you guys! It took weeks before we brought our kitty from western Canada to Toronto when we moved and when we did load him in cargo for a short 5 hour flight he was terrified. Never again 😭 it shattered us. You guys made the right choice! May Allah make this new transition easy for you guys.

This feels so close to home because me and my family moved about 2 years ago and the hardest part of it was that we left during Covid. We couldn’t even spend the last few months with my extended family due to restrictions and I can only imagine how hard it must be for both of you to leave your parents and siblings. I work with a rescue here in Kuwait we send many cats monthly to Canada all go in cargo. None have died all have arrived safely. I understand your fear he is your family. Alhumdulileh he found a good family.

I remember when I had to say goodbye in Morocco for studying abroad in America. I mean you guys are leaving for business and I understand how hard it is to be away from loved ones. Not only hits right at the moment, but later when you are settled and things are going natural and back to normal because you are not thinking of them, and also there are many things to deal with in the moment. It is not as bad in the first place, but with time it will eventually hit again. I am speaking from personal experience and I remember how sad it was. The nice part was I get to another country and experience new stuff. There were some mixed emotions, like happiness, sadness.
All the best to your new life in Dubai. It is indeed a bold and brave move which I may not even dare to make. May Allah ease all of your affairs and protect you from any harm. May HE also grant you health and wealth 🙏

All of this is bringing back emotinal memories when I had to leave my family behind when I went to university. I would have never thought of the idea of me crying my eyes in front of family cause they mean sooo much and being 1500km away from them is tough to swallow but Alhamdulillah everything was all good. In sha Allah everything will be okay for you two and may Allah make it easy for your transition 🤲🏼

What about taking Floki to Lebanon and then bringing him to dubai? i'm sure the flight is way shorter that way and will be safer for him. But i am glad you'll made the right decision of not taking a risk.

I feel your pain I moved from Cairo to the USA. The transition wasn’t easy by Alhamduillah . I spoke to my mom probably 5 times a day.
