I have this same chainsaw. Mine sat for 20+ years before I got sick of looking at it & overhauled it completely. I was able to locate & download an illustrated parts list which helped me on reassembly. I rebuilt the 'RARE' Zama C1-1702 carb (which has no floats, BTW) It would NOT run until I bought an ultrasonic cleaner and cleaned the carb 3 times. After drilling tiny holes in the gas cap to allow air flow, I got mine to start & run great with a little tuning. There is a crankcase pressure line running from the intake manifold to the carb. Make sure its not clogged. The crankcase pressure acts on the diaphragms inside the carb, acting as a fuel pump. I had to remove the tiny Welch plugs in the carb to unclog the orifices hidden under them. You must make sure these are clean or it will never run. This is probably the major problem with small engines not running. The fuel gets old, rancid, gummy & will make your life miserable unless you meticulously clean every little opening in that carb.
