Philippines House Update - Reveal

- In this episode we show you through the changes we have made to our home in San Vicente, Ilocos Sur, The Philippines. For those who remember the state of the house when we arrived in the Philippines you will recall that it was left in poor condition and there was plenty of work to do to get it looking good. You'll see us working on the landscaping and making some upgrades, particularly in the electrical department. We installed a new CCTV system, new lights and a 5.5kw solar system. We also did a bit of painting on the gate and downpipes, installed new doors, covered the grey water tank, installed another AC unit, got rid of the ugly burn pit, and took down the electric fence (so it no longer looks like a combat outpost in Afghanistan LOL). But it wasn't all work and no play... we also had a pretty busy social schedule, catching up with a lot of new friends (many expats) as well as many people in our local community, and of course we maintained "date night"!!. You'll see what Halloween looks like in Vigan City too, it was crazy!! That's where we leave this episode... in the next eoisode we leave our home in the capable hands of our caretaker and we head to manila in preparation for Australia. We are Kim and Kyle a FilOz couple. We currently live in Australia but have a "second home" in Ilocos Sur, The Philippines. We are expecting our first child in March 2024, we make these videos to document our life both in Australia and in the Philippines, primarily for our child but also to inform and entertain you.

What a transformation guys...Kyle. hats off to you mate, i know how hard it is to graft in that heat...you have turned the "recreation yard" into what a garden SHOULD look like, full of colourful plants, grass and beautifully laid out, well done Kim on your horticultural choices. And, as for that rediculously unecassary electric fence, thank god thats gone...looked like a state prison from the outside. Excited to see the pool and the upcoming internal transformation plans...looks like a proper home now...well done to you both...looking forward to seeing the 3 of you on your return...

Love the update and glad you removed the electric fence since was not pretty. Garden reminds me of a Hawaiian lanai garden. Add some elephant ears, monstera plants and fuller plants.
