He poisoned both luffy and teach, but because he was to egotistical, he just left them there. Like if he finished them off, ace wouldn’t be dead, whitebeard wouldn’t be dead, and like a bunch of soldiers! If he just finished or teach and luffy, because if he did, he wouldn’t have had to let shiryu out his cell.

To be fair, Pell died in the anime on 9/11/2001 so oda didnt want a character dying to a big terrorist attack right after the most famous one in history. So he Retconed the manga so it didn’t leave a bad taste

How many people explain what they dislike?
