My 2 geysers blew straight away after installation , as the mixer taps were not compatible and this very important fact was not made clear . Kwikot will not refund the money. So we are now using Ariston as they don't require the obligatory mixer taps, and also I can use good looking taps to our specification.
what is the power usage on these heaters as it will keep on heating the water when the temperature drops, that can run into a huge bill like your normal heater
As a basic video this is fine but you don't explain why people needed a vented mixer valve tap for this unit and that's super important. For things like warranty or not blowing the unit. This is a vented system and can't be installed like a normal geysers. To install this unit requires certain regulations which are not really addressed here. Yes this is a basic example but he doesn't say why. If you set it up wrong and that's easy to do you have no warranties
Hi - may I perhaps ask you a technical question only if you dnt mind otherwise please forgive me but I am desperate. I know the risks, liability and warranty issues etc but lets say I dnt care about any of that and connect the inlet and outlet directly without the correct mixer but there is more than sufficient pipe to allow for expansion. You think it will work without blowing ? I wont hold you to it, just wanted an opinion as you seem to know what you talking about. I dnt care if it breaks as I only paid R500 for a 2nd hand one ( as long as it does not explode and cause walls to fall over. I dnt mind if it bursts lightly and spills as it will be over the bath tub. I got nothing to loose ) Thank you. Sorry if this all sounds ridicoulous
Mr. Builders please respond to the question of using this product as a geyser, I am keen to know. In my case I have 10 room rented flat & hot water is supplied by two geysers & inevitably I am covering the cost of hot water, I will like to change this by installing this units per room. Your response please.
What an absolutely useless video! How much electricity does it use compared with a normal 150 liter geyser? Can it keep up with the flow of water once the water in the unit is used. You said it stores HOT water .... but that defeats the point of having an instant water heater. How about explaining how good it is at actually delivering enough hot water for a shower, what temperature you can expect i.e. will the water actually be HOT because most of these things struggle to actually deliver hot water.

Hi how are Aristons working?
Please share your experience on the Aristons, please. Did you use the under or over counter units?
Thanks for this info, I was planning to use it as a geyser replacement for a small flat. You a lifesaver
Are you a sales rep for Ariston? 😅
So what exactely is the correct Kwikot mixer?
Can you use this for a small hair salon

Can I use it in a shower setup?
Thank you for the video does this unit need a separate pressure valve like a standard geyser or not?
How do I use this for shower?
What is the max that it can be away from tap?
is it fine to keep this water heater switched on at all times? does it auto-regulate the temperature when kept on?
The only problem is the correct mixer specified cannot be found and when I phone Builders and they don't know what I talking about.
Well can you put it in the bathroom? I have more questions than I had before lol
I ALSO WANT TO KNOW IF I CAN PUT IT UBOVE MY SHOWER?
I WANNA PUT IT UNDER MY SINK

people are buying this for electricity savings to try replace a geyser, would be great if you could add in info on its kwh usage etc
He said clearly its for point of use it is not for a shower or a geyser to replace your main geyser.……
