Hey there, that is always hard to figure out without having the unit in front of me. He is where I usually start. If I have just purchased a unit I bring it up on a variance, isolation transformer and dim bulb tester to make sure there are no shorts. I start with the power supply first for rebuilding. If any fuses are blown look at the schematics to see what they power to and start digging from there. There are some great repair videos here on RUclips to watch, Xraytonyb has some really good ones and blueglow electronics too. Good luck and if you need more help just write. Enjoy the hobby.
I have 2 of the 1250's ..They do sound very nice..I would like to have them rebuilt in the near future.
Find a good tech near you and you will be very pleased. Make sure you have a good open area for this receiver for air flow and a strong back. Enjoy.
@@bfpsa64 They will probably end up at Classic Audio repair in San Diego..
@@tinachavez8712 Awesome, enjoy them when they are done. What speakers are you going to run them with?
@@bfpsa64 Most likely my VMPS Supertower ll's and my DBX Sounfield 100's
Nice piece
Had one
What would cause a 1250 to not power on? I bought one and it doesn’t power in but in great condition
