I caught a blue cat a few months back in a creek on a strike king spinner bait, and then about a 18 inch catfish on a crappie crawfish crank bait, and now about a week ago caught about a 40 inch gar on a larger crank bait fishing for bass on a micro light rod lmao i keep catching fish you usually snag with bait on crappie and bass lures.
I would bet my left leg that there is something large in the water in front if the dock. Maybe some kind of garbage, like roadkill or something large and protein, maybe KFC bones or something of that nature. That's why they are all in 1 spot. They have a small feeding frenzy going on.
I've never caught the first fish off the Whopper plopper. I've seen people on videos catch fish off the Whopper plopper. I've had a couple of smallmouth bass swirl around it but not hit the bait. I wish that the fish office for would hit it because it sure does look fun to catch a fish off a Whopper plopper

Yup I know who he is, just yell for the dirty stash and out comes josh with his wopper plopper blowing in the breeze. I don’t think his Boo would like that! Yup he has the grace and coordination of a prima ballerina as he climbed over nope under nope over nope now both! 😂😂😂😂 don’t forget Tyler that huge fish you got to eat the wopper blopper and it was smaller! All my nieces and nephews have children. Young, but my 35 yr old daughter has a 2 year old daughter that is a clown and my youngest daughter graduated from nursing school and is 4 months pregnant. I’m getting old buddy! Hit the 60 mark last may.
