He mentions self reflection and being in your 30’s. It’s much more mature than his previous albums before this one. It has good songs and the production with Stephen Duffy is fantastic
I remember watching this when the album came out in 2005 I can't believe I'm almost 30 myself now. And this album gives me that feeling he was hoping others get when they listen back to this.
He feels so sad on this album. Like he wishes to find his true love and was ready to settle down and be with someone. He felt sad that he hadn’t and he was 31 here. You can feel the desire in his voice and songs
Looks so delicious singing "Make Me Pure"... I grew to love this album. When I first heard it, I thought, "WTF Rob?" But I get it now that I'm much older. It's one of my favs post Escapology (which is probably my favorite).
This is definitely his best album, I love all the songs of this album, my top one is Advertising Space. His previous albums are good but bit too dark and depressing. This one definitely different.
